Antichrist is still here very much alive until Christ comes.

And many many of us are being used by him.

Yes, a legion as many as the spirit of lies the antichrist deceives. He began in the garden of Eden .The god of false prophecy,(oral traditons of dying mankind) false teachers, false apostles . He deceived Eve with his lies and as a false apostle she deceived Adam . Both deceived by the same lie " Neither shall you touch it" :
By the lust of the eye in false pride they touched and died just like the man that lust after another woman adultery punishable by death

1 John 2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

What were the sign we are to seek after?.

One of them was the antichrist.

Luke 11:29 And when the people were gathered thick together, he began to say, This is an evil generation: they seek a sign; and there shall no sign be given it, but the sign of Jonas the prophet.

It is bad practice to pit Luke 11:29 against the MANY other verses declaring signs as a witness for the believers.

Mark 16:17-18
"These signs will accompany those who have believed: in My name they will cast out demons, they will speak with new tongues; they will pick up serpents, and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover."

Luke 11:29-30
As the crowds were increasing, He began to say, "This generation is a wicked generation; it seeks for a sign, and yet no sign will be given to it but the sign of Jonah. "For just as Jonah became a sign to the Ninevites, so will the Son of Man be to this generation.

I'm partial pret. The chief sign for which I look is the final return of Christ but this op is not about my looking for signs. It is about identifying the antichrist. The reason for this op is because there is a large swath of Christendom looking for signs that have already come and gone, signs for which they look but never come. It proves to be a wasted expectation. The problem isn't the existence of signs (or lack therof). The problem is their misreading of scripture's comments about signs.

John2: 18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.

Then how many does the word antichrsts (plural) mean?

Its not how many demons are used to deceive .Its It one demons named legion that works to deceive in many Mathew 16 using Peter to display the the lying signs to wonder after (Peter as the key that the gates of hell could never prevail against) , and not the gospel. the antichrist (one) at work usurping the Power of our Holy Father and deceiving al false prophets as false apostles

So the first beast of revelation... The little horn of Daniel 7... All different?? Do we need to concern ourselves or warn anyone about any future threat to Christianity from any prophetic figure? If so, who are they? And if not, who are you?

The first beast of Revelation 13 is gone and done with. No longer a threat to our future. The Rev. 13 Beast from the Sea is the same as Daniel 7's "dreadful and terrible" 4th beast. Daniel 2:34-35 says that God with a single stroke to the feet destroyed Daniel 2's entire statue of world empires represented by those various metals and the clay. All of that statue was broken to pieces together at one time back in AD 70, and blew away like chaff on the winds. Christ's "stone" kingdom that got rid of that entire statue has kept steadily increasing in size, and will eventually fill the world with its effects before the final judgment and resurrection. Those nations or people who have tried to establish world dominance ever since AD 70 have repeatedly failed in their endeavors. God never again intends there to be an individual or nation with world-wide control that would compete with His "stone" kingdom with Christ ruling that kingdom. Christ is currently "reigning in the midst of His enemies", as predicted.

Daniel 7's little horn (compared to all the other horns on that 4th beast) Daniel 7:24 said would "exceed all the former ones in wickedness". That little horn is likewise long since dead and gone ever since Nero committed suicide in AD 68, ending the Julio-Claudian dynasty of the Caesars. And Nero was NOT "The Antichrist", as many Preterists mistakenly claim. Nero never got into the temple to "exalt himself" and present himself as being god in that temple like the Man of Lawlessness was going to do, and Nero never came out from among those to whom John was writing in 1 John 2:18-19. Nero never claimed to be Daniel's prophesied Messiah, or made any statement denying that the Messiah had come in the flesh.
