Split: Can President Trump handle the 'Pandora's Box' of Iran War?

View attachment 1274

Those that GET OIL from the Straight of Hormuz, should help protect the Straight of Hormuz from a Terrorist Nation attacking THEIR oil supply ... what a concept!

[I suppose the US could just send them a BILL for the cost of the US Navy protecting their oil supply for them.]
It would be useful to see the destinations-per-source. For example, this makes it look like all of Saudi Arabia's oil goes to China. "So who cares about Iran's oil?" kind of thing. But, true, it does indicate to some degree (as measured by the barrel) that China and Saudi have the most to lose.

One of the questions posed in this article is "how do we pay for it"
We have spent Billions if not Trillions since 1979 dealing with Iranian sponsored terrorism, aggression toward neighbors and endless continuing hostilities in the Middle East.

An analogy: All the terrorism, hostilities and agresssions in the Middle East that is sponsored and promoted by Iran is like putting out fires that keep flaring up in Iran's continual agression toward it's neighbors and the west.
This war will actually lead to less military spending in the long run. It is the brilliant concept of arresting the Pyromaniac, aka Iran and put an end to this continuos expensive fire fight.

The analysis of Kharg Island (post #3) revealed that 3 million barrels of Iranian Oil flow out of Kharg Island (90% of Iran's total oil exports) and China imports 3 million barrels of Oil from the Straight of Hormuz ... so China appears to buy ALL of the Iranian oil and Saudi Arabia supplies almost everyone else (which makes sense given the embargo and how much oil Saudi Arabia exports ... 7 mbpd in total).

So, India should get over there and protect those Saudi Tankers. China could do it with a phone call (if there is anyone in Iran to pick up the phone). China is to Iran as the US is to Israel.

Then I must have misunderstood what Pandora's Box means, but there seems to be many others coming to the same conclusion …

[Insert links to articles calling it a Pandora’s Box.]

What, did you search for “pandora’s box + trump + iran”?

Do any of these articles, in your opinion, make a solid case for the conflict with Iran being a Pandora’s Box?

Well, I dont know if they do, but the news justs keeps getting worse as the unintended results of Presidents actions has generated many complicated problems and become "a source of endless complications or trouble"

Here is the latest that has sprung up from it, hopefully from a good source...

"Live updates: Energy prices soar as Trump threatens to blow up Iran gas field and Tehran intensifies Gulf retaliation

The president threatened to “massively blow up the entirety” of the world’s largest gas field if Iran attacks Qatar again. Tehran was retaliating for an Israeli missile attack yesterday on the facility, South Pars.

By NBC News

What we know

  • GAS FIELD ATTACKS: Iran escalated strikes on energy sites in neighboring Gulf states, including a key facility in Qatar, as it retaliated for an Israeli attack on South Pars, the world's biggest gas field. Oil and gas prices soared again as the strikes intensified the global energy crisis.
  • TRUMP ISSUES NEW THREAT: President Donald Trump said there would be no further attacks on South Pars unless Iran attacks Qatar again, in which case the U.S. “will massively blow up the entirety” of the gas field. Trump said the U.S. “knew nothing about” the Israeli attack, though a senior official close to Qatar's leaders disputed that to NBC News.
  • U.S. TARGETS MISSILE SITES NEAR HORMUZ: The U.S. said it struck Iranian missile sites along the coast of the Strait of Hormuz, where Iran has attacked ships to effectively block the vital shipping waterway. Iran’s parliament speaker, one of the regime's powerful surviving figures, said the strait “won’t return to its prewar status.”
  • LEAK INVESTIGATION: Joe Kent, a former senior intelligence official who resigned in protest over the Iran war, is under investigation by the FBI for allegedly leaking classified information, a source familiar with the matter told NBC News.
  • DEATH TOLL: More than 2,000 people have been killed across the Middle East. In Iran, Israeli and American strikes have killed more than 1,200 people, according to the Iranian Red Crescent Society. At least 850 people have been killed in Lebanon, and 13 have died in Israel. Thirteen U.S. service members have been killed, and two more died of noncombat causes.

Now why this matters to a reader of Gods Word... if you look we have many text on what would happen at the end and we all know them...

1 Thessalonians 5:3
For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

We see what is being said... What to know about Trump's "Board of Peace" as world leaders sign founding charter in Davos

Daniel 12:1
And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

With the famines, pestilence, earthquakes, and floods and fires, what more can there be... Global Issues : social, political, economic and environmental issues that affect us all

Matthew 24:3&14
Disciples ask, "...what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?"
...And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

With the world wide web reaching all parts with the gospel, IMHO I think we are on the tip of there, but thats just me....

Coincidence doesn't equal causation, unless NBC news declares it so—or better yet, if it sneakily alludes to it.

What "energy crisis"? "News" sources love that word, "crisis".

Fuel prices soar at every opportunity. Do you remember when they fell precipitously, when Trump became president-elect the first time? He didn't cause them to do so. Katrina hardly slowed oil delivery, and oil production not at all, but "because of Katrina", they jumped high. They climb at every opportunity.
