There's a storm coming...

I have missed your photos.
Thank you!

I so want to go to Scotland. So long for a land I have never seen but my ancestors walked and fought for.
Maybe God will give you the opportunity some day.

Anyway, here's another picture from my outing to Ellon. It's in sepia tone, which I like for its old fashioned look.

What looks a bit like a miniature grasshopper, on a mushroom found growing in one of our indoor plant pots.

A shag (similar to a cormorant, but with a greenish tint to the plumage) - taken today.

Hopefully you will enjoy that. I also like Clanadonia. Stirs up all that Scottish fire and fight in me. Did I tell you I am from the Clan of Bruce?

Thanks; that helps to take my mind off what's been obsessing me lately (what the WEF, WHO, Bill Gates, etc. are up to).

I'm from Southern Scotland originally, where most people don't pay so much attention to the clan system; however, I am also descended from one of the clans (the McNeils of Barra, although I have a different surname).

I logged on to post a picture, so here are two Scottish sparrows, on the roof.

Here's a recent grainy monochrome (to look like an old-fashioned film picture) picture of our local lighthouse.

There were some amazing lights in the sky today, so I took several pictures. Does anyone know what this phenomenon is called?

Is it the aurora borealis? I have never seen them quite like that but I haven's seen them a lot. Super photo.

Thank you.

I've done a quick online search and discovered that they're called "rainbow clouds" (a.k.a. "polar stratospheric clouds" or "mother of pearl clouds").

I'll post another in which I used an in-camera filter (Toy Pop) to enhance the colour.
