There is much more continuity to the Bible than Dispensationalists give it credit for. For example, in Psalms 119:29-30, he wanted to put false ways far from him, for God to be gracious to him by teaching him to obey His law, and he chose the way of faith by setting it before him, so this has always been the one and only way of salvation by grace through faith. The Bible begins with the Tree of Life and ends with the Tree of Life and everything in between is about the way back to the Tree of Life, which is having the experience of knowing God and Jesus through being a doer of His eternal character traits (John 17:3).

Not to defend @Mr GLee , as I have huge questions unanswered concerning his beliefs, but I'm guessing, or at least I hope, that he means CONTINUING authority past (or after) the time of the NT apostles.

Ill give you that. I believe the 1,000 years stand for a period of time and it's not literally 1,000 years.

It was in Antioch they were first called Christians' (acts 11:26).
Antioch was predominately Gentile, while the promise was made to the Jews...
