Jim has just undergone open heart surgery and for three bypasses. He has come through the surgery very well and is doing well now.
The surgery was performed Tuesday afternoon at Banner Hospital in Phoenix. He is expected to remain in the hospital for about four days and then be released to recuperate at home.
His son, Dave, has the dubious honor of caring for him during his recovery.
