In all the religious clutter of disputes and arguments, what are the only essential doctrines of salvation?

Only one universal church Jn 10:16

The church is governed by men who all sin, no one ever said a religious leader must be impeccable

Scripture says only one faith eph 4:5 Jude 1:3
all Christians are of one mind and one heart and have one savior one common salvation in one covenant
That is true but when there is systemic sin practiced without abatement until the perpetuators are either caught or die, then we are talking about rebellion against God.

I agree there is also one universal church but it is not contained within one denomination at this point. And the head of that church is Jesus Christ.

It is by birth, we must be born again not by the spirit but by water & the spirit. Jn 3:5
Born into the church the communion of saints 1 cor 13:12 2
Pet 1:11
Rebirth is the holy spirit work.

I would agree with you that that is the present state of most of protestantism but, I was not referring to protestantism.

Like I explained before, the universal church is not found within any denomination. When I failed to add was that it is found in all denominations among those people who sincerely adhere to trusting and rely on Jesus Christ for their salvation.

When one looks at the history of the Catholic Church, one finds it just as flawed and broken as any other denomination. In the medieval times it was almost reduced to a Geo political power.

But that has never stopped many good hearted Catholics from believing in Jesus Christ for their salvation and they will be saved as well all protestants who also believe the same with all of their hearts and submit to God and the Holy Spirit.

The Catholic mystic Francis Thompson wrote an amazing piece of poetry entitled, “hound of Heaven.“ It is one of my favorite pieces of poetry and an extremely profound Explanation of the personal experience one can have with Jesus Christ. Whether you are Catholic or protestant I would encourage everyone to read this poem.

By the sacrament of Baptism Jn 3:5 and Jn 3:22 they went to the river and they baptized!
That would then assume everybody who is baptized has been born again but the fruit of many does not bear that out.

We don’t have a personal salvation or savior or a personal covenant with God! Jude 1:3

Cos you confuse justification by faith and baptism with final salvation

Redemption :
The redemption was accomplished by Christ with no participation on our part. All mankind is redeemed.
Lk 2:11 Jn 1:29 rm 5:8 1 pet 1:21-23
God gives all men sufficient truth and grace for salvation.

Justification:
then if we accept His redemption we are justified, born again by faith and baptism. Mk 16:16 Jn 3:5 acts 2:38 8:36 Titus 3:5 1 pet 3:21

Sanctification:
Members of Christ and his church by grace we practice good works (prayer, alms, fasting, virtues charity, suffering other sacraments etc. until death. Phil 1:29

Salvation:
Is for those who are faithful and die in the grace of God united to Christ and in his saints at death enter into eternal salvation! Mk 13:13 Matt 24:13

Titus 2:14
Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, (redemption) and purify unto himself a peculiar people, (justification / baptism notice purify / wash) Jn 3:5 zealous of good works. (Sanctification) Jn 15:4 abide in Christ Matt 3:16 believes (present tense) Matt 24:13 endures to the end Shall be saved.

Yes, that is the way I understand it also.
Justification:

Many people are baptized but do not exhibit a rebirth but I would agree that those who are born again will be baptised if possible.
Sanctification:
Members of Christ and his church by grace we practice good works (prayer, alms, fasting, virtues charity, suffering other sacraments etc. until death. Phil 1:29
Yes, I agree with you. I would also add that we are set apart.
Salvation:

We can know if we are saved or not by faith. We can also abandon that faith and fall back into damnation. It is a free-will choice to choose Christ's redemption or reject it.

I think you are a conscientious Christian who loves God. There is nothing that you have posted that denies that.

If baptimal regeneration is. Or what causes us to be born again what does?

Sorry I have not read it, but I know we are all in one new covenant, one body of Christ, the communion of saints!
I do not know a lot about the Catholic faith, does it teach that all baptized Catholics are all in one new Covenent?

Only those united to Christ the mediator by faith and baptism are in the new covenant and have the possibility of eternal salvation

The fruit of many who claim to be saved by faith alone also has this problem, it’s a matter of misunderstanding, “we are not saved” do not posses eternal salvation until death, Mk 13:13 Matt 24:13 we are all redeemed by the blood of the lamb and have the possibility of justification by faith and baptism but then we must endure to the end and abide in Christ! There is no guarantee of the grace of “perseverance” or of final perseverance, sacrifice, suffer, practice the virtues of Christ, we must pray and implore God’s grace and helps and gifts of the spirit, wisdom, understanding, knowledge, counsel, piety, fear of the lord, and fortitude, with sacrifice and suffering, ask and you shall receive!

Jn 1:16 Jn 10:10 Matt 16:24 Jn 15:4
Matt 24:13

Phil 1:29 For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake;

Thanks

Why would Saint John then right to his churches “I write this on to little children that you may know you have salvation?”

He did not!

The promise of salvation!

1 John 2:25
And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life.

Grace is the life of God in us but we must persevere in this grace till death! Jn 15:4 Matt 24:13

Sin causes separation from Christ and God. 1 cor 6:9 Gal 5:21

Repentance and confession restores is to God and His grace. Jn 20:23 1 Jn 1:9

Prayer, sacraments, fasting, alms, suffering, practice of virtues.

Matthew 7:7
Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shallbe opened unto you:

Matthew 26:41
Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.

Phil 1:29 For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake;

Matthew 10:38
And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.

1 Peter 4:1
Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin;

Matthew 11:29
Take my yoke upon you, and learn ofme; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

Hebrews 6:12
That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

All of which contradicts saved by “faith alone”!

Thanks
