GOD MADE NO COVENANT WITH GENTILES

Is Christ the savior of all men?

Don’t forget the Jews rejected Christ and killed Him!

1 And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.
2 And I will make my covenant between me and thee, and will multiply thee exceedingly.
3 And Abram fell on his face: and God talked with him, saying,
4 As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations.
5 Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee.
6 And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee.
7 And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee. Genesis 17:1–7.

The Abrahamic Covenant. A covenant in which a man and his wife were given outstanding promises for not only him and his immediate children but for their descendants also. A covenant in which a Redeemer and King would be born to remove the sins of God's covenant people and give them eternal life. And from this day forward God has been working to that end using only this covenant and no other for there is no other Name by which anyone will be saved but the Name of God: Yahweh (YHWH.) It is only through this covenant will God save His Chosen people Israel. But God has made no covenant with Gentiles. But Gentiles are not excluded for there are many prophecies through the decades sent to Israel from God's prophets that Gentiles will be included, and we later find from the writings of Paul, grafted in along with the natural branches of the Olive Tree, which is Israel, that Israel will be the light to lead the Gentiles to Jerusalem to worship God alongside them.

The Church, or Great Congregation of the LORD is Israel. The Bride of Christ is Israel for God says in the Old Testament that He is betrothed to Israel forever. But God has made no covenant with Gentiles.
When all is said and done, and Israel's Messiah and King sits on the throne of David to rule His people from Jerusalem there will be a Marriage Supper of the Lamb and His Bride. Israel is there by covenant, but Gentiles will be there by invitation.
God has made no covenant with Gentiles.
But you Gentiles have receive an invitation to partake of the blessings God has bestowed upon Abram, Isaac, and Jacob, and the twelve tribes of Israel and their descendants.

11 I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy. 1
2 Now if the fall of them be the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness?
13 For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office:
14 If by any means I may provoke to emulation them which are my flesh, and might save some of them.
15 For if the casting away of them be the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the dead?
16 For if the firstfruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches.
17 And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert graffed in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree;
18 Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee.
19 Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be graffed in.
20 Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear:
21 For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.
22 Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.
23 And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be graffed in: for God is able to graff them in again.
24 For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert graffed contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be graffed into their own olive tree?
25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.
26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:
27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.
28 As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers’ sakes.
29 For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance. Romans 11:11–29.

All well and good but God has made no covenant with Gentiles.

The Gospel was announced to Abraham and was to bless all nations.

The Gospel was in the stars in ancient astronomical observation. Abraham saw Christ's day and was stoked. The nations were able to see it too.

Christ was called the covenant for the nations in Isaiah 42.

James says we have known from of old that the nations were to be blessed in Acts 15, quoting Amos 9.

The new covenant is his blood shed for all who believe.

Stop quoting Rom 11 and not finishing the paragraph. The paragraph ends "God has now bound all mankind over to sin so that he might have mercy on them all." Sounds to me like he was going to bless the nations from the start.

Israel is betrothed to God:

19 And I will betroth thee unto me for ever;
Yea, I will betroth thee unto me in righteousness, and in judgment,
And in lovingkindness, and in mercies.
20 I will even betroth thee unto me in faithfulness:
And thou shalt know the LORD.
21 And it shall come to pass in that day,
I will hear, saith the LORD, I will hear the heavens,
And they shall hear the earth;
22 And the earth shall hear the corn, and the wine, and the oil;
And they shall hear Jezreel.
23 And I will sow her unto me in the earth;
And I will have mercy upon her that had not obtained mercy;
And I will say to them which were not my people, Thou art my people;
And they shall say, Thou art my God.
Hosea 2:19–23.

She is His Bride and Scripture says that Christ died for His Bride who is Israel.

But in the NT we find out this is believers. Eph 5, Rev 18.

You don't know the Messianic Scriptures, in the light of which all Scripture is to be understood.

All those in Christ, and only those in Christ, are the Bride (Eph 5:30-32), which is the body of Christ (Eph 5:23).

Unbelieving Israel is cut off, and believing Gentiles are grafted into the people of God (Ro 11:17-23).
19 And I will betroth thee unto me for ever;
Yea, I will betroth thee unto me in righteousness, and in judgment,
And in lovingkindness, and in mercies.
20 I will even betroth thee unto me in faithfulness:
And thou shalt know the LORD.
21 And it shall come to pass in that day,
I will hear, saith the LORD, I will hear the heavens,
And they shall hear the earth;
22 And the earth shall hear the corn, and the wine, and the oil;
And they shall hear Jezreel.
23 And I will sow her unto me in the earth;
And I will have mercy upon her that had not obtained mercy;
And I will say to them which were not my people, Thou art my people;
And they shall say, Thou art my God.
Hosea 2:19–23.

The Bride of Christ is Israel.
Gentiles are grafted in.
Unless you want to call God a liar.

The Old Covenant is gone (Heb 8:13).

The NT is the New Covenant, not the Old Covenant.
The Old Covenant is gone?
Is that why there's dozens of OT Laws believers are commanded to obey?
Like the command to not have other gods before me and taking the Name of the LORD in vain.
Like it says in the song, "meet the new boss, same as the old boss."
You have such a prejudice against Israel from whom there is salvation for salvation is of the Jews, Jesus said.
But no one likes to listen to Jesus when He contradicts their beliefs.

Is Christ the savior of all men?

Don’t forget the Jews rejected Christ and killed Him!
No, not all.
And if you'd been there, you'd yell "Crucify! Crucify!"

25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; Eph 5:25.

Christ died for His Church and His Church and Bride is Israel.
Gentiles are grafted in.

Romans was written to Jewish believers at Rome.
So, the "all" is in context to Paul's readers and that would by Jews.
"So that He might have mercy on ALL (the Jews.)

Rom. 11:25–29.

There you have it.
When the Times of the Gentiles is finished then God turns His full attention upon the apple of His eye Israel, His Bride, His Church, and before the 7 years are up, He comes to sit on the throne of David and Israel will conqueror the world through Jesus Christ when He comes to fight at their side - actually leading - them on a beautiful white horse.

3 Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations,
As when he fought in the day of battle.
4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives,
Which is before Jerusalem on the east,
And the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west,
And there shall be a very great valley;
And half of the mountain shall remove toward the north,
And half of it toward the south.
Zech. 14:3–4.

...said Jesus to a Syro-Phoenician woman whose faith he praised over those Israelis standing nearby! (Yours is called an anti-proof!)
The woman was Gentile, and she knew the Old Testament Scripture identifying Israel's Messiah.
This is why Jesus pronounced her faith being great. Her faith was founded on the Scripture.
She knew that one day yet future the whole loaf of bread would be hers. All she wanted was a few crumbs against that day. Now THAT'S a lot of faith/trust.
But this doesn't detract that Jesus WAS sent to the lost sheep of the House of Israel.
The Bride of Christ is Israel saved.

But in the NT we find out this is believers. Eph 5, Rev 18.

Israel is at the Marriage Supper of the Lamb through Covenant.

What's the difference when they are all there by God's grace!
Boasting is excluded!

Romans 3:9 ESV
What then? Are we Jews any better off? No, not at all. For we have already charged that all, both Jews and Greeks, are under sin,

Matthew 15:24 I Am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
...said Jesus to a Syro-Phoenician woman whose faith he praised over those Israelis standing nearby! (Yours is called an anti-proof!)
That doesn't negate what He said.

I will grant you this, though - there are some Gentiles who are adopted into Israel, and then become part of the covenant.

But the initial statement is correct. There isn't a covenant between God and Gentiles. There is only a covenant between God and Abraham in which God makes some of them sons of Abraham (aka not Gentiles anymore).

Genesis 17:4 - And Abram fell on his face, and God talked with him, saying, "As for me, look, My covenant [is] with you, and you will become a father of many Gentiles."

Romans 3:9 ESV

If boasting is excluded why then do I hear boasting from Gentile Christians who refuse to accept their place before God and think their whole salvation is at the expense of the Hebrews whom they believe God has cast away never to be saved? The arrogance of Gentile Christians in my experience is their attitude that they are the be all of every gift of God that He's given to them.
Personally, I have entertained the thought that the 'Mystery, Babylon the Great, the Mother of Harlots and Abominations of the Earth" are Gentile Christians who take God's HOLY LOVE given to them and prostitute themselves by "loving the unsaved world" outside the covenant of God clearly in disobedience to the original command of God in Leviticus 19:17-18. Gentile Christians just can't accept God's Word in this and make every excuse to disobey Him and give that which is holy to an unholy people and cast their pearls to the swine. They take the Scripture and twist it to support their pet theories and unbiblical beliefs thereby in effect tell God what they want Him to say rather than allowing the Word of Truth tell them what to believe. As the Bride of Christ it is clear that if we give our love to someone other than our Betrothed, we are ADULTERERS AND ADULTRESSES plain and simple.
So, Gentile Christian, here is the ORIGINAL COMMAND of God to His Covenant people, BOTH JEW and GENTILE:

16 Thou shalt not go up and down as a talebearer among thy people: neither shalt thou stand against the blood of thy neighbour [member of another tribe living next to you]: I am the LORD.
17 Thou shalt not hate thy brother [member of the same tribe] in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour [member of another tribe living next to you], and not suffer sin upon him.
18 Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people [member of ANY tribe], but thou shalt love thy neighbour [member of another tribe living next to you] as thyself: I am the LORD.
Leviticus 19:16–18.

Do you read the declaration of God saying "I AM THE LORD."
He says this with the same power and authority that Jesus spoke when He told the guards coming to arrest Him "I AM" and they fell backwards to the ground. NO FLESH shall glory in His Presence.

15 Love not the world [the unsaved inhabitants], neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
1 John 2:15–17.

4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
5 Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy?
6 But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.
7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
9 Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness. 10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.
James 4:4–10.

Either the unsaved world, the non-elect are God's enemy and He's trying to protect us from the same troubles that gripped Israel when He commanded them to "not mingle with the Gentiles nor learn their ways," or these passages of Scripture above is DUNG!

When Christ returns with the armies of heaven He's attacking God's enemies, Israel's enemies, your enemies, and my enemies. Are you going to hold out even at this point that God is attacking His friends and those He loves?

3 Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations,
As when he fought in the day of battle.
4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives,
Which is before Jerusalem on the east,
And the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west,
And there shall be a very great valley;
And half of the mountain shall remove toward the north,
And half of it toward the south.
5 And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains;
For the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal:
Yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake
In the days of Uzziah king of Judah:
And othe LORD my God shall come,
And pall the saints with thee.
Zechariah 14:3–5.

11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.
Revelation 19:11–16.

There's a reason why His vesture is stained with blood. That's the blood of His enemies, those He kills and destroys.

Vengeance is MINE, saith the LORD! I WILL REPAY!

Receive or reject. There is no medium.

You really don't know the material.

The woman was Gentile, and she knew the Old Testament Scripture identifying Israel's Messiah.

The Bride of Christ is Israel saved.

...so that he could develop missionaries that would reach the Gentiles, lol. You either don't know the material or don't know how you sound.

The whole of Scripture is God's Love letter to His Bride Israel.
He died for His Church Israel.
Gentiles are grafted in.
Israel is at the Marriage Supper of the Lamb through Covenant.
Gentiles are there by invitation.

It helps to know if you are defining Israel by race-nation or by faith. "We" in Rom 9-11 is by faith, as you can see from both Rom 4 and 9:6, 24. The olive tree is people with faith, it is not the race nation.

Oh look: there are natural branches grafted BACK in. What does that tell you?
That is the kind of line that could have been written to any race-nation had that race-nation started making the Judaistic assumptions that Nicodemus had (he didn't realize his natural birth meant nothing). Jn 1:14: not by human descent or a husbands will. Paul was not against Jews, he was against 'taking credit for race-nation status' by anyone.

One tree does not a forest make.

That doesn't negate what He said.

I will grant you this, though - there are some Gentiles who are adopted into Israel, and then become part of the covenant.

It was all about Christ. Does anyone here know the NT? Abraham saw Christ's day written in the stars and was pumped! That's what 'all the nations will be blessed' meant. And of course what Isaiah meant by saying that the Servant Messiah was the covenant for the nations.

Everything has to pass the grid of Gal 3, where we find that the Seed was not many people (unless you mean many through Christ), but was one person--Christ. Once that is established, the OT is clear, true and fulfilled. Christ was the covenant for them as well:

"It is too small a thing for you to restore the remnant of Israel; I will make you a light to the nations."

More reading Scripture, less posting, would be good.
