Despite the Evidence, Nearly 15% of Americans Deny Climate Change

People including scientists make misstates. Science is based on evidence and when new evidence becomes available the science is updated.

You are partially correct that CDC Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky initially made a statement suggesting that vaccinated people do not carry the virus or transmit it to others. It would be wise of you to take this as a learning lesson so as not to repeat it over and over, I doubt that you will.

However, the CDC later clarified that while vaccinated individuals are highly unlikely to transmit the virus, the evidence isn't clear, and they are continuing to evaluate the evidence

Therefore, while vaccination significantly reduces the risk of virus transmission, the CDC has not definitively stated that vaccinated individuals cannot transmit the virus.

While pointing to other peoples mistakes you might do yourself a favor and recognize your own.

BTW, I am not a fan of the the CDC. Here is something that they were definitely wrong on and have not yet corrected. The CDC does not fully recognize Covid as being airborne.
Well, some of the results are coming in, and this is interesting on the blood clots showing up after the Covid 19 vaccine...

"In a paper published in Blood, scientists from the University of Birmingham funded by the National Institute for Health and Care Research and the British Heart Foundation have been able to identify how deadly blood clots, in the disease known as Vaccine-Induced Immune Thrombocytopenia and Thrombosis (VITT), occur.

Previous studies have shown that patients with VITT produce antibodies that stick to a protein called Platelet factor 4 (PF4) to create a large cluster of molecules called an immune complex. Following the development of a complex, platelets and cells of the immune system causing clotting and inflammation are activated, but the precise nature of what PF4 does in this event was unknown.

In this latest study, the team used blood taken from healthy donors, as well as serum and plasma from patients with VITT, and have been able to learn for the first time how PF4 was directly involved in the activation of platelets and resulted in thrombotic events. By sticking to a receptor called c-Mpl on the surface of platelets, PF4 triggered the production of the small cells known to cause clotting.

Dr Pip Nicolson, Associate Clinical Professor in Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Birmingham and senior author of the study said: "The major advances seen in vaccine development during the global Covid-19 pandemic were thrown into sharp relief following the tragic, rare cases of vaccine-induced immune thrombosis. While there were alternative vaccines available to continue to provide protection against the coronavirus in some countries around the world, understanding the mechanisms behind these cases is critical to ensuring that the technology for delivering vaccines can be used with confidence in the future."... I wonder the effect of the mRNA vaccines and this?

Another “15% Neanderthal “!!!!

Only a corrupt criminal like Biden would go to the border, ignore the crisis and —you guessed it— deflect to the climate crisis.
Add me to the mix. The Neanderthal deniers.

I don't deny a change, but I do believe it is of natural occurrences... albeit with a few added cow farts.

Isn't it funny that you never once hear about the recent little ice age.

Look at the chart for the medieval warm period to the little ice age....

1757691347673.png
A Little Ice Age occurred between the 14th and 19th centuries.
Saber-toothed tigers and woolly mammoths weren’t roaming the Earth during the last ice age — Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo were. A period of global cooling, known as the “Little Ice Age,” spanned the late Middle Ages through the Renaissance era, ending around the dawn of the Industrial Revolution in the mid-1800s. Some locations cooled down more than others, including northern Europe and western North America, which experienced temperature fluctuations between 1.8 and 3.6 degrees Fahrenheit cooler than the thousand-year averages for those regions.

This drastic change in climate had several possible causes. One leading theory points to a decrease in sunspot activity, which caused less solar radiation to reach Earth’s surface. Significant changes in atmospheric patterns also might have contributed to cooler temperatures in some regions. Or an increase in volcanic eruptions could have been the culprit, causing gas and ash to spew into the atmosphere, cooling the Earth. Some experts suggest it was a combination of all these things. Researchers at University College London believe the temperature drop was exacerbated by an entirely different issue: the depopulation of the Americas following the arrival of European colonists. Mass warfare and disease caused the deaths of 56 million Indigenous people by 1600. Large areas of once-cultivated land turned into forests, absorbing massive amounts of carbon dioxide and preventing it from reaching the atmosphere to warm the planet.

The impacts of the Little Ice Age were global, causing food shortages in parts of Europe, Asia, and Africa. China’s long-standing Ming dynasty fell in 1644, partially due to agricultural woes. Widespread famine uprooted the regular order of society, and Europe’s medieval feudal system (which relied on peasants growing crops for their lords) collapsed (partly due to climate change, though many other factors contributed), giving way to markets and trade systems. This new way of life led into the 17th-century Age of Enlightenment, when exploration, religion, art, and philosophy transformed European society.

The term Little Ice Age was originally coined by F Matthesin 1939 to describe the most recent 4000 year climaticinterval (the Late Holocene) associated with a particularly dramatic series of mountain glacier advances and retreats, analogous to, though considerably more moderate than, the Pleistocene glacial fluctuations.

We cannot control the weather, we can learn to adapt as needed.

The trouble is... people panic because they have no references... that is why, until the scientists bring out the LIA info and whatever else they know that is provable.... I will not build and ark or space ship to leave this planet.

I don't look at charts and data that may be reliable if it is less than 100 years old. Any data beyond that date of reliable, modern records is pure speculation

I do look at the sky. In my estimation, it is getting colder and drier.

The lack of rain is supposedly because of global warming that means all the water is evaporating into clouds but what goes up must come down, yes?
So, if, as they say, it is warmer and there are more clouds, then the cloud cover would make the climate cooler. And if the water does not come down as rain, but remains as permanent clouds, then what is that all about?

This is the problem I have with all the "scientific."
There are fossilized crocodiles above 6,000 ft elevation in Wyoming.
When the "explanations" are presented, tectonic plates, continental uplift, global warming, global cooling, any number of erudite speculations and suppositions aka"scientific" theories can be strung together to get a story explaining it all. But none of the stories add up and all the variations of the stories make Zero sense when subjected to close scrutiny and questioning.

Every year I swear if we get much more global warming I am going to freeze to death. (Had the space heaters on here in August... unheard of.

Not to worry.

All in this chart is verifiable as it is basically from shortly before Columbus discovered America and 2000.

We have enough written records from then until now to know what the weather was like.... even from diaries that were copiously kept
once upon a time.

Same where I live. I didn't have the space heaters on, but I did have the air cond. off and windows open. Plus all total from August to now we have had rainfall on a steady week to week basis, amounting to seven or eight inches---3" in just the last week and more expected tonight, and Sunday and Tues, Wed., Thurs. next week with more on the weekend. This is supposedly or driest time of year. Prior to this year we were in severe drought for five years. We only had one day this summer that hit 100 degrees and usually we have a good seven to ten, or more.

It would be great if the climate change fear mongers would learn the difference between climate and weather, and that weather patterns are constantly shifting, one way, then another.

That was here in the Month of May and into June. Now the grass is so brown and crunchy there will be no
mowing next week.

July we hit a lot of 90 degree days, and the rest were in the upper 80s. Then we dropped in August and some nights were near
40. Hence the space heaters. Now we are having a heat wave.... will be in the low 80s LOL... for the next 8 days and no rain forseen.
It has been in the low 80's for the past 3 days.

So weird.

Even New England’s year without a summer , the ice during the battle of Trenton, , or the Thames Christmas markets on solid ice without having to use bridges, etc.

In 1900, Oranges were grown as far north as Jacksonville, Florida [North Florida near the Georgia state line] … I have seen the old postcards of the orchards and processing plants.

By the 1990’s, frost had destroyed all of the Orange orchards north of Tampa, Florida. [mid-Florida]

So please explain this “global warming” to me since empirical evidence for Orange production suggests warmer, milder weather in 1900 than the year 2000.

The last time Pittsburgh reached at least 100 degrees Fahrenheit was on July 15, 1995. Since then, the city has not experienced temperatures that high during the summer.

That was 20 years ago, folks.

Pittsburgh has not experienced a 100-degree day since 1995, and as of September 9, 2025, the highest temperature recorded this year is 94 degrees.
