Luke 13:6-9 Then he told this parable: “A man had a fig tree growing in his vineyard, and he went to look for fruit on it but did not find any. So he said to the man who took care of the vineyard, ‘For three years now I’ve been coming to look for fruit on this fig tree and haven’t found any. Cut it down! Why should it use up the soil?’“‘Sir,’ the man replied, ‘leave it alone for one more year, and I’ll dig around it and fertilize it. 9 If it bears fruit next year, fine! If not, then cut it down.’”

As the world waxes worse and worse what is set before us a time line of events that represent the culmination of all things. We know it as the “time of sorrows” or “the great Tribulation” spoken of in the book of Revelation (Other passages Daniel 7, Mathew 24, 2 Thessalonians 2). These apocalyptic passages have been waiting for fulfillment for a very long time and it appears that we are right on the cusp of the return of Christ. However are we truly ready to meet with our Maker?
The majority of believers, if they are honest, would say that they look for the return of Christ to be their moment of transformation. They finally get to shed the darkness and put on new clothes. Though that is a promise that is offered to us in Christ it does not mean we don’t need renovation. The Christian life is one of throwing off the old and embracing the new. It’s about renewing the mind and becoming more like Jesus in our attitudes and actions.

Does this mean we are capable of impressing God the Father with our good works?
No, not at all; instead we can only impress Him with our fanatical love for His Son. To want Jesus more than the things of this world let’s us gain the true prize. For this reason a saint will often experience hardships that buffet the flesh while at the same time prompting us cry out to the Savior. But don’t think that God has to create new and inventive hardships in order to get our attention. The strongest opposition comes about from the way in which we hold on to this world.
Romans 8:6-8 The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace. The mind governed by the flesh is hostile to God; it does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so. Those who are in the realm of the flesh cannot please God.

Wherever we are still linked with the fallen nature it will lead to strife and conflict. You know the principle; “what you sow is what you reap”. However if we leave behind this fallen world we can experience the peace and safety afforded us in the grace of God. God’s grace separates us from our former way of life and covers a multitude of sins.
Romans 8:27-28 And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God. And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

With the commencement of the Tribulation in 2020 we need more than ever to capture the grace of God. So what is expected of us?
Since we are in the book of Revelation notice that the book opens with the churches of Asia Minor. These churches and their message are for our benefit as well. They support the notion that man is blinded by his fallen nature and suffers without a course correction dealt by the hand of God. Yet to still be owned by the world on any front means we remain susceptible to its destructive nature. How we then choose to maneuver “through” this valley of the shadow will determine how much of the grace of God can actually reach us.

The Prophet Isaiah gives us a picture as to what is occurring if we remain compromised, but do keep in mind that many of “our Idols” today remain hidden in the heart; it’s a heart issue that needs correcting first and foremost.

Isaiah 30:15-18 This is what the Sovereign Lord, the Holy One of Israel, says: “In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength, but you would have none of it. You said, ‘No, we will flee on horses.’ Therefore you will flee! You said, ‘We will ride off on swift horses.’ Therefore your pursuers will be swift! A thousand will flee at the threat of one; at the threat of five you will all flee away, till you are left like a flagstaff on a mountaintop, like a banner on a hill.” Yet the Lord longs to be gracious to you; therefore he will rise up to show you compassion. For the Lord is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for him!

I don’t want to make light of what we are facing especially if the Lord is a God of Justice. We are two steps away from entering into the kingdom of God in a new and unexplored way. I am personally convinced that we have a few months left since three plus years of agenda 21 have already passed. /christian-news/2022/05/agenda-21-is-our-intro-to-the-tribulation-of-revelation-9-2607995.html

The return of Christ will either hide us away during the most severe time of God’s wrath (final 3.5 years) or something more commonly known as the rapture will take place. Now this is not a time to argue eschatology; the emphasis is on whether you as a Christian have gained God’s full protection or are suffering unnecessary consequences. Those committed to seeking God’s face can lighten the load by being seated with Him in heavenly realms. Let me explain.
The battle we are facing is first and foremost a spiritual one. If the Devil and his antichrist son is alive and well during this time of sorrows, then wherever we remain under his thumb “spiritually” we remain vulnerable in physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual ways. This is where compromise in life and faith paints a target on our backs. Yet to seek for innocence in Christ is setting aside the right of the world to lay claim to us. The key here is a righteous life minimizes the right of evil to use and abuse us. So coming free of our fallen Adamic nature on every front lets us gain a greater assurance that we remain in the will of God. What does that mean “Remain in the will of God”?

Obtaining a greater victory in Christ minimizes our exposure to dark men and dark circumstances; it hides us away in God. But it doesn’t mean that this time of darkness doesn’t impose uncomfortable measures upon us. It simply means that we have confidence in Christ that we are in His will and able to endure a time of testing. Just as significant it means at the right time we can stand and fight against the darkness putting on the full armor of God. This is where the Word lets us know that we will experience both of these scenarios in the days ahead.

Daniel 7:25 And he (the antichrist) shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.26“‘But the court will sit, and his power will be taken away and completely destroyed forever. 27Then the sovereignty, power and greatness of all the kingdoms under heaven will be handed over to the holy people of the Most High.

The UN is NOT the Global Government but the religious aspect of it. Its moral laws are throughout every aspect of society - respect, tolerate, inclusiveness etc (of all sexual behaviour etc).

Though I do also believe the Lord`s return is very soon.

I did enjoy the insight you have provided in this post, thank you Gordon. I read it a couple of time and was inspired by your hunger and thirst for more of God…may I?

These apocalyptic passages have been waiting for fulfillment for a very long time and it appears that we are right on the cusp of the return of Christ. However are we truly ready to meet with our Maker?
When you say, “the return of Christ” is this the “typical” view of the return of the Lord Yahshua, the head?

It’s about renewing the mind and becoming more like Jesus in our attitudes and actions.
So true, this is something the church is simply not able to reveal or teach. The “New Clothes” are not optional; they are indeed the only thing to wear in order to "bring rule" to the earth in the end of this age.

The strongest opposition comes about from the way in which we hold on to this world.
Fantastic Truth here Gordon, worded very well also.

With the commencement of the Tribulation in 2020 we need more than ever to capture the grace of God. So what is expected of us?
I have not seen anyone actually come out and say this in a forum. This is not what the “pre-trib rapture community” wants to hear.

They support the notion that man is blinded by his fallen nature and suffers without a course correction dealt by the hand of God. Yet to still be owned by the world on any front means we remain susceptible to its destructive nature.
Love the post Gordon, the Son of God will move through these last days just as the Lord Yahshua moved through His days in His journey here on the earth. That is indeed why He came. Perhaps you can think of it as those “in Christ” are in the house of God, they are being raised and trained by the Lord Himself through their battles with their connection to the world.

This will both purify the temple, and complete the apostasy leaving only the mature “Son of God” and the mature “son of satan” to have at it on the earth and the outcome is not uncertain.

The return of Christ will either hide us away during the most severe time of God’s wrath (final 3.5 years) or something more commonly known as the rapture will take place.
The rapture is out of the picture Gordon, can you explain why will “Christ who rule with a "rod of Iron” need to be hidden?

What does that mean “Remain in the will of God”?
It means "to become the mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ. As a result, we are no longer to be children, tossed here and there by waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, by craftiness in deceitful scheming; but speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, even Christ."

This is precisely what the Lord Yahshua is doing and has been doing since the out pouring of the Holy Spirit back in the first century.

Obtaining a greater victory in Christ minimizes our exposure to dark men and dark circumstances; it hides us away in God.
“We are hidden with Christ in God” for now Gordon; however the scriptures repeatedly speak of a “revealing, or birth pangs, labor and a subsequent birth.” People are not seeing this, though it is clearly stated in the prophetic record.

You are most definitely seeking more of Him via the revealing of Himself to you, we all require this Gordon, today He has come to you.

The Lord Yahshua Christ was manifest for these reasons, “to reconcile man to God and to destroy the works of the devil.” How anyone can think that an end of any type, to God’s creation will occur without both of these mandates being fulfilled, by Christ?

Your thinking…but, I do expect that Christ will come back and destroy the enemy while calling His own to come out from among her…right…so then maybe we should look at what is glaringly right in front of us…what is the “full” definition of the “Christ?”

Here is where the deception is greatest Gordon…most define “Christ” as the Lord Yahshua and that is true only in part. The fullness of “Christ” is the glorious King of kings and High Priest Yahshua as the Head, and those of us filled with the Holy Spirit from every tribe, tongue, people and nation…as the rest of the “Body.” Which Body is soon to be directly proportional to His Head.

“For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us. For the anxious longing of the creation waits eagerly for the revealing of the sons of God. For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself also will be set free from its slavery to corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God. (Rom 8:18-21 NASB)

Scripturally “Christ” is defined as “Head and Body”…starting out as “one new man” growing and maturing into the “perfect or mature man” and then being presented to creation near the end of the age as the “man child” that is birthed forth from the seed of God out of the woman…upon the throne of God where He was born and has been raised. His revealing prophetical stated as a "Birth" is soon, and as the “son of God” he will “rule” in the exact manner as the Head under the Head.

The Truth of the "Head and Body" as one "man" called "Christ" ruling and reigning to bring the age to an end needs to be received.

But it doesn’t mean that this time of darkness doesn’t impose uncomfortable measures upon us. It simply means that we have confidence in Christ that we are in His will and able to endure a time of testing.
I see it as a primary driver for the purification of the son, along with a revealing of the righteous, holy and divine standard of God which will make the apostasy patently obvious.

Please allow me to add, that as the great falling away rolls out…the revelation of the “woman” will become understood.

Personally I don't believe we are in the tribulation. I believe we are in the "labor pain" period. Close to the world stepping into the tribulation period.
Yes, Jesus' message to the church's of Asia Minor are for our benefit as you said above.....as an example in Rev 3:10 we read the following..... 10 Because you have kept my word about patient endurance, I will keep you from the hour of trial that is coming on the whole world, to try those who dwell on the earth.

This is one of many passages that suggest the rapture of the church will be the means in which Jesus delivers the church from the hour of trial.

You also referred to 2 Thes 2...in this chapter there is a verse that says...."Let no one deceive you in any way. For that day will not come, unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction," The word used for rebellion is...646. apostasia...which also carries the idea of " "leave, depart,"....
Many see the departure of the church prior to the "man of lawlessness being revealed" This departure is said to be the rapture of the church.

2 Thes 2 goes on to say.... 6 And you know what is restraining him now so that he may be revealed in his time. Many believe the church is what is restraining the "man of lawlessness"...and when the church has departed, removed, raptured then the "man of lawlessness" can operate freely.

I don't really intend to go back and forth on this issue but rather show you there are different "opinions".

Yes, I believe the tribulation will start soon. With in 3 months??? We'll see. I do know the beast system is currently being built and will be in place shortly.

Hi Tath; glad you like it.

When you say, “the return of Christ” is this the “typical” view of the return of the Lord Yahshua, the head?

The return is as much a mystery regarding "how" as it is to "when" so for now typical works.

I don't think that the Body of Christ has any real grasp as to the devastation that is coming to our planet; so Jesus/Yeshua will have preserve His people as those passing thru the fire. But there are enough verses that suggest we are hidden away in some manner.
The rod of iron comes as we enter the 1k years.

If you consider how salvation works few realize that we are now inside of God even as He is inside of us.

This is where Paul's understanding of the Cross comes in and is able to bring about that necessary transformation. If I'm excited its because this one revelation is able to change us in physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual ways.

I agree...there are many signs. The formation of CBDC...patent 2020-060606....The rapid advancement of AI...desires of the UN and WEF...the list goes on and on.

I ran across this article this morning...
Biblical Prophecy: It Has Never Been More Vital That Churches Teach It, And Believers Understand It. I think you would enjoy the article.

I couldn’t agree with you more CC, and like you, I am increasingly more aware in my spirit that we are very close to things becoming very difficult for us! I think that difficulty is the means of sifting the wheat from the chaff.

The impending use of digital money (and a possible world currency plan being suggested) will be, I think, the first major linchpin to establish the foundation of the rulership of the beast described in Rev13. “This call for enduring patience and faithfulness on the part of the saints!” (Rev 13:10)

Sigh, three months, huh?

20 'But the prophet who speaks a word presumptuously in My name, [a word] which I have not commanded him to speak, or which he speaks in the name of other gods, that prophet shall die.' 21 "And if you say in your heart, 'How will we recognize the word which the LORD has not spoken?' 22 "When the prophet speaks in the name of the LORD, and the thing does not happen or come [true,] that is the thing which the LORD has not spoken. The prophet has spoken it presumptuously; you are not to be afraid of him.

Are you sure “thus said the LORD” or should we gather stones (just in case)?

I couldn’t agree with you more CC, and like you, I am increasingly more aware in my spirit that we are very close to things becoming very difficult for us! I think that difficulty is the means of sifting the wheat from the chaff.

The impending use of digital money (and a possible world currency plan being suggested) will be, I think, the first major linchpin to establish the foundation of the rulership of the beast described in Rev13. “This call for enduring patience and faithfulness on the part of the saints!” (Rev 13:10)

The beast system is like a wheel with many spokes. The cashless society world wide is but one of the spokes.

I am not focusing on the cashless society as much as I am the beast’s control over the world’s ability to “buy or sell” based on the presence of the “mark of the beast”, which a one-world, cashless, digital monetary system would facilitate and become a necessary component to the establishment of this global control.

Hope you are spending more time on tacticalcivics.com than you are on this. There are counter measures that can be done, and in Holland, the gov there that was going to seize 3000 farms and cause hunger was just defeated.

I don’t know anything about Tactical Civics, and have not heard of them before your post. My focus is on scripture and what it tells me, and it tells me that the beast will be given power over all nations, languages and tribes, and he will war against the saints and conquer them, and that “If anyone is to be taken captive,
to captivity he goes; if anyone is to be slain with the sword, with the sword must he be slain.
Here is a call for the endurance and faith of the saints.” (Rev 13:10 ESV)

It is a way of resisting it now.

I hope you proclaim that the Son deserves all honor now, and that this is said to rulers and fellow citizens now, Ps 2, 110. It mattered right away to the apostles. See my THE ENTHRONED KING at Amazon.

It is a way of resisting it now.
It will happen despite any resistance!

He always deserves all praise, and that is my life’s passion to proclaim it!

But the current version doesn't have to. We have a say.

But the current version doesn't have to. We have a say.
We always have a say, but our say will not ultimately overthrow the authority of the beast!

Rev 13:5The beast was given a mouth to utter proud words and blasphemies and to exercise its authority for forty-two months. 6It opened its mouth to blaspheme God, and to slander his name and his dwelling place and those who live in heaven. 7It was given power to wage war against God’s holy people and to conquer them. And it was given authority over every tribe, people, language and nation. 8All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast—all whose names have not been written in the Lamb’s book of life, the Lamb who was slain from the creation of the world.

9Whoever has ears, let them hear.

10If anyone is to go into captivity,
into captivity they will go.
If anyone is to be killed c with the sword,
with the sword they will be killed.” d
This calls for patient endurance and faithfulness on the part of God’s people.

Unless that was about the 1st cent. like the opening page says, and the things happening today are echoes or repeats, over which we have some say.

Then why are we here 2000 years later? Why then are we not in the new heavens and earth and living in the new Jerusalem? If near and soon means what you say, then all the visions in the book would be finished! All things would be made new!
