Can the external call of the gospel by itself produce faith in the heart of the natural man?

From a brief study, Jesus touched several Unclean things. According to the Law he Kept, this would make him Unclean. That is what I will have to go with. Christ touching Jarius' daughter's dead body would have made him Unclean. I believe she must have been Alive in some sense, for Jesus to have avoided the Sin of touching a dead body. He said she wasn't Dead, right? He had an excuse. I don't know why I haven't thought about this earlier; it's probably because I already believe his Healing Touch and the Sinner's Uncleanliness has a Temporal Order which satisfies both sides. Do you see why I can't accept Jesus defiling himself? @His clay

Can you see why I believe that Faith and Regeneration are both first in a Temporal Order?
I see jesus as a savior. In order for him to save, or heal or do anything to the lost sinner, he had to touch them,

its why he came, So they could have life.

remember on the cross. Our sin was placed in his body. and he bore what we owe.. as the father and spirit had forsaken him so we could have life.

Thanks for your time, I think we're done. You get what I'm saying, the Lurkers get what I'm saying; though Jesus didn't touch the Thief on the Cross, he gets what I'm saying. I'm not here because I have nothing else to do...

See you around...

Have a blessed day my friend :)

I think Jesus said it best.

John 3: 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
.
it made me think of something was all. Didn't mean to interrupt.

What is the point at issue? And what does Jesus' touching unclean things have to do with the point? I have to ask these questions to find out why you tagged me. I'm having a hard time finding the relevance. Is it a sin to touch a dead body if you have the power over death and life and the ability to make anything unclean to be clean? We also might ask what the point was regarding clean/unclean things?

At any rate, I don't really see the relevance of this discussion when addressing the issue of the external call in relation to people in bondage and deadness to moral corruption.

Because they did not believe.

Because he did not fit their defenition of a messiah

because he was a threat tot heir livelihoods

I can go on and on and on

Matthew 23:37

Jesus Laments over Jerusalem

“O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing!
John 8:31 "So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him, 'If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples'"

The text says, "had believed him." You say, "they did not believe."

The point would be Christ's Inconfusedibly, Unmixed Human Nature; by Law, not being able to touch anything Unclean. Sure; he was the Lord of the Sabbath, and had an advantage in life. My point is that as a Man, he Kept the Ordinance not to touch anything Unclean. I brought up a discussion about the Temporal Order. I believe that when Jesus touched anything Unclean, at the moment, in the twinkling of an eye, it was no longer Unclean to defile him...

what about all the jews who did not really believe?

ie. they followed him looking for him to take David's throne and kick the romans out. Not save them from their sins.

I was thinking of John 6. when he spoke to the crowd he fed the day before. When he told them. "you do not see because you do not believe".

what was it they did not believe?
