I am going to say something here that may well get me barred from the forum. I hope not. The recent interview of Texas AG Paxton by Tucker Carlson is presented here:
I believe that it presents the reason and the way that this country is being destroyed. Although it is not discussed in the video, I believe what is demonstrated in the video is the result of a national departure from a commitment to the fundamental Judeo-Christian values that was the basis for founding of the United States and for its success up until recent times. Those Judeo-Christian values derive directly from the Bible of the living God. Thus adherence to those values requires that a significant majority of the US citizens are recognizably practicing Jews or Christians.
We really need to quit worrying about whether Calvinism, Arminianism, Roman Catholicism, or any other Bible-based -Isms are "Christian Systems" and worry instead about the steady abandonment of any and all Bible-based -Isms.
Having said all of that, I must admit, that I do not know what the solution is or whether there even is a practical solution. I can posit a solution, but I have no idea of how to administer such a solution.
And with that I hope of have not offended any here too deeply.
