Agree, or, disagree.

A low view of the law always brings legalism in religion; a high view of the law makes a man a seeker of grace.

Would you explain your understanding/reasoning?

Carbon, I would prefer to say an ignorant, misunderstanding of the Law brings legalism and a high view of the Law ends in grace.

Just the existence of the Law is grace, for the purpose of the Law is to instruct in righteousness and any instruction from God as to how to operate oneself and to be operated by God is gracious-ness. Otherwise, we all lean on our misunderstanding in the vanity of our minds and end up falling short of His revealed glory (and His revealed glory is everything revealed in Scripture.)

A correct understanding of the place and purpose of the Mosaic Law within the full historic account of redemption, beginning in Gen 3, causes one to see grace always standing alongside of judgment. And in Christ we finally come to that fullness of grace promised in Gen 3 concerning the seed of the woman. You will crush His heel and He will crush your head.

It is not a story that is has different parts, but only distinct parts of the whole, always moving forward towards His goal, and always through covenant relationship. And that covenant is not only with mankind, certainly not only with national Israel, or ethnic descendants, but with His entire creation.
