Can we talk a bit about our favourite wines here? :)

My favourites are .....

White: Gewürztraminer and Riesling from Germany
Red: Carménère from Chile and Zinfandel from the USA

and more :)

Looks like all the wino's are being hush-hush. 👼

I'm not much into wine myself, although I've tasted some of my wifes favorite Pinot Noir.

Maybe once or twice a year some red, but cheap stuff From the grocery.

I said to my wife that I don't know how to tell the difference between cheap wine and not cheap wine. She had me taste some cheap wine once, and I was used to her better stuff.

Huge difference.

I'm guessing the water turned to wine was the best ever. And I mean ever.

What do you mean by "wino"?
What do you mean by "hush-hush"?
I mean that most Christians in the States are reluctant to admit they drink, it's a cultural thing. So my post was played off of that, a wino is a drinker, and hush-hush means they aren't going to say they drink. They do it in secret.
:)

10 Biblical Reasons We Should Appreciate Wine

Let’s discuss some Biblical Reasons We Should Appreciate Wine.

I firmly believe wine is a good gift from God and that, while living on earth, His own Son enjoyed it

Maybe in the states ....

NOT in Europe.

Here we know the difference between a drunkard and those, who value a glass of the noble wine now and then - which is nothing to hide or to be ashamed of. :)

What would I know about wine since I live in Northern California, Doctors orders a glass of red wine for my heath with dinner. 🤣

Not maybe. ;)

Yes, I know.

We know the difference here too.

But there could be a biblical basis for not drinking before weaker brothers, or letting them know about it.

I recall a time near 40 years ago a few of us went to a wine tasting thing in Idaho, and they were showcasing local stuff. It was delicious. Other than that, I have no clue.

even in my wild days.. i despised wine i dont drink any alcohol

Pinot Noir - or "Spätburgunder" in German - is grown a lot where I live.
I live in a wine-growing region, and all my ancestors have been farmers and wine-growers since centuries.

I am not a wine-grower myself, but many of my relatives are. :)

I stopped at a winery once, and Miss Taste This, Taste That had me taste nearly half the wines in the joint. "*Hick* thanks, they all *hick* taste *hick* great!" 😵

I will offer this. The Lord does not forbid alcohol.
That is clear. We are free to be wise.
