Why is this forum private?

2 Timothy 2:8 Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from the dead according to my gospel: 9 Wherein I suffer trouble, as an evil doer, even unto bonds; but the word of God is not bound. 10 Therefore I endure all things for the elect's sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.

I suspect that he means that you can no longer view the posts, until you log in.

Correct. How can the outside world read what is in this Christian forum to be able to take an interest & join?

Isn't that not like having a lamp under a bushel?

Somebody might know why but then again, if nobody knows why, maybe the woke people on the internet figured out a way to block Christians sites online? I can still see Worthy Christian forums from the outside and so I have to wonder why they would go after a new site.

So probably another reason for it then. Somebody has to know something. Maybe the "Administrator" knows? You know that guy with the nick name "Administrator"? @Administrator I tried that tagging thing but his nick does not pop up in a small window to tag him.

Was he removed? Was his computer compromised and the hackers did his? Speculations abound. No way to prove or disprove it either.

Settings are set in order that guests/visitors can view the forums. If they are not, there is another issue.

No one is trying to hide the Gospel or our dialog.

Relax, it will be OK.

Before I created my account a couple of hours ago, I was able to see the forum names, but none of the posts. That setting makes it difficult for a guest/visitor to know whether they'd be interested in this site or not.

Thanks for the info. As far as settings go, guests can view but not post. Some of additional permissions in settings were changed an hour or two ago.

FYI. I was able to view forums, threads, and responses as a guest.

Any other info that would help us know why you could not view these would be appreciated.

I tested the site again just now, using a browser in which I am not logged in (so I was viewing as guest), and I was able to read posts, so whatever adjustments you made seem to be working.

Now that the forum has been promoted from Private to General, as in general public, we can rejoice that the Word of the Lord is no longer bound.

Course we still need to pray for God to cause the increase and continue to minister to each other in this forum.
