Well we know all the obvious ones of drugs, adultery, pornography, sexual immorality, lust, anger, coveting, indolence, love of money. But what about the hidden ones or less obvious, a judgmental attitude, selfishness, control, pride, desires and the worst one, making an idolatry of things such as our children or objects we own. I've seen Christians that will bristle with hate if you dont praise and allow their children every thing they desire, food, cellphones, toys, unrestricted and permissive to the point of self destruction or will break every commandment if you come near their cars and damage them or even give it a scratch in a fit of road rage,

So when the temptation of 'Potiphars wife' approaches you and she uses the subtle approach (“lie with me”), what do you do? Many Christians just glance around to see if any one is looking, then grave the temptation with both hands and let it grow to an addiction. Christians say they believe, but how much do they truly believe if they never let God come in and cleanse them from it, and let the Holy Spirit begins its work of transformation on the road to sanctification. So do we have these 'Christian Addictions' in our life?

It's hard for me to believe that a true born again Christian would have problems with anger and similar things to that. The people you are describing as "Christians" there don't even sound born again to me. They are just Christian in name only.

However, I have some addictions still. I prayed to God to take them away and He didn't so far. I don't know why because I hate them with my whole mind, heart and soul. That my "old man" and he still gives me trouble.
