Were Adam and Eve actual historical people?

Were they historical or a pedagogical example, or a teaching model - an illistration of what happens to every man, which helps us to understand the significance and reality of Jesus Christ.

Can you support your answer with scripture?

Adam was historical figure.
Supporting verse: 1 Cor. 15:22 for just as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive.

The verse is literal in the 2 part and almost surely is in the first part. I can't Adam's sin being imputed to us if he was pedagogical.
There also genealogies going back to Adam I believe which highly suggests a historical figure.

For Adam was formed first, then Eve; Adam was not deceived, but the woman was deceived and became a transgressor. Yet she will be saved through childbearing—if they continue in faith and love and holiness, with self-control.
