I guess all I would ask, is for everyone to agree that a Christian who holds to the Law is the Weaker Brother. At the Council of Jerusalem, the Pharisees would have been the Weaker Brothers for wanting Circumcision; Saint Peter was the Stronger Brother for wanting Sola Fide...
Absolutely not I don't agree .
If I don't run out and murder people it's not because I'm "weak".
It also doesn't make me weak to believe God hates murder and doesn't want his children to commit such horror.
There's a difference between God's moral law and levitical laws which includes dietary laws and laws surrounding Temple worship.
I will not see anyone who upholds God's law to be called "weak", when in fact they are simply believers in Christ.
Jesus Christ said if we love Him we will keep His commandments.
Exactly who do you think Christ is anyway? Who was in the burning bush?
Love is keeping His commandments. A command is law. We don't disregard what is pleasing to God, we are a people under law, it's just a law we love, because it was written on our hearts in love.
This isn't some choose your own morality fest. We have a Father and His morality is on full display throughout the pages of Scripture - and we follow it.
We uphold the law not to be saved, but because we are saved.
