The 'spirit' that goes back to God, what is it?

For starters I don't think the question is irrational and I disapprove of you considering my view as irrational.
It's not a personal opinion and your approval or disapproval is irrelevant. I explained how and why the question is irrational: ALL death is gone of death is abolished and destroyed.

One day cars will be abolished and destroyed.
Do you mean Fords or Toyotas?

🤪🤪🤪

It is an irrational question.
Spiritual death for me has already been eliminated.
Physical death so far hasn't...unless I am taken away in the rapture.
Irrelevant. Death is abolished and destroyed. There will not be any spiritual death (a term nowhere found in scripture) regardless of whether it has already been eliminated or not, and there will be no more physical death (which has clearly not been eliminated). And my original question is still awaiting an answer.

When death is abolished and destroyed and is no more.... will there be any more death?
.

When death is abolished and destroyed and is no more.... will there be any more death?
Yes.

Now I suggest you humble yourself and stop acting like a know it all. Got it?

If there is no death then why do many succumb to the second death?
Perhaps I have not made myself sufficiently clear.

I'm talking about the last death. At the last death, when death itself is dead, then there is no more death. All forms of death, including the "second death" will be in the past. There will be not more death or dying.

1 Corinthians 15:26
The last enemy that will be abolished is death.

No more death. At all. No more death of any kind. No more physical death, no more sinful death, spiritual death, toe-nail fungus death, second death, third death, or any other death. It will be abolished, destroyed, brought to naught (katargeitai).

Revelation 20:14
Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire.

The second death does not continue. It is done. All the people tossed into the fiery lake suffer the "second death" BUT THEN DEATH ITSELF IS TOSSED INTO THE SAME LAKE!!!!! If the people thrown into the fiery lake are dead..... then so too is death. Death itself suffers the very same fate as everyone else tossed into the fiery lake. No more death.

Revelation 21:1-4
Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth passed away, and there is no longer any sea. And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, made ready as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is among men, and He will dwell among them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself will be among them, and He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away."

No more death. No more dying.

So I will ask, once again,

When death is abolished and destroyed and is no more.... will there be any more death?

.

Now you're playing word games again as you try to make yourself sufficiently clear.

My point was at the resurrection physical death will end for the believers.
At ones moment of being born again spiritual death has ended.

How ever....at that time there will still be death as the non-believers will suffer the second death.
Yes, death will be thrown into the lake of fire...but those in the lake will remain "dead". Once we get through that portion of Revelations only believers will remain...and they will not die physically or spiritually.

Never happened.

Most people say, "You missed the point," or "You don't understand," or some other accusatory statement about the other poster and completely fail to take responsibility for their own posts. Like you have just done (and been doing throughout the thread). The facts in evidence are that I did not need to make myself clear because what I posted was scripture and scripture speaks for itself. You are haranguing me and still not answering the question correctly.

I do not care about your point. Your point is nonsense, and you are still not answering my question.
How ever....at that time there will still be death as the non-believers will suffer the second death.
The second death is done. It is finished, there is no more second death! You are belaboring an irrelevant point.

RIGHT!!!!! Death is dead! No more death!

No would you please answer the question asked.

When death is abolished and destroyed and is no more - when death is dead.... will there be any more death?

There you go...you're pius attitude.
There you go: irrelevant off-topic hypocritical ad hominem.

Got anything op-relevant to post?

When death is abolished and destroyed and is no more - when death is dead.... will there be any more death?
I will jump in and answer the question to show how simple it is to answer and since no answer was forthcoming when it was asked.

No. There will be no more death. The Bible answers the question clearly and simply.

Rev 21:4 He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.

Exactly.

I answered the question myself. You can answer it correctly and do so without hesitation. How can anyone deny what is explicitly stated? "...and death shall be no more"!!!!! After the "second death" death is destroyed and then death is no more. When death is dead then death is no more.

That is a critical step in answering the question asked in this op: "What is the spirit that goes back to God?"

We have seen that man does not have a 'immortal' soul as scripture makes that clear..
Correction: as "MY", or "My denomination's" interpretation of scripture makes clear.
