The Eternal Purpose of Creation !

All things that have been made that includes some Angels, were made for Christ Salvation. Heb 1:13-14

13 But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool?

14 Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?

In Gods Eternal Purpose which was determined before the world was created Eph 3:11

11 According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord:

Within this Purpose God had already determined to gather together all things in Christ Eph 1:9-10

9 Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:

10 That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:

So the sin of Adam was purposed by God before the world was created. Adam didn't sin by accident, nor did he sin contrary to Gods will. Adam sinned according to a redemptive purpose in Christ established in God before the world began. 16

Christ foreordained before the foundation of the world !

1 Pet 1:18-20

18Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;

19But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

20 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,

Gods Elect were in Gods purpose to be redeemed by Christ's Blood before the foundation of the world. It tells us in vs 20 Christ was foreordained for this redemptive purpose BEFORE the foundation of the world. This means that before adam was created and sinned, Christ was already set up to be manifested in the last times to shed His redeeming Blood.

So why do so many in mans religion believe that it wasn't Gods will for adam to sin according to Gods Eternal purpose in Christ Jesus ? Would God rather not adam to sin even though He had foreordained Christ before the world was created to redeem His elect by His Blood.

All things were made for and by Christ His redemptive purpose !

Col 1:14-17

14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:

16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

All things created by Him and for Him includes adam in the beginning. Adam was made by Him for His redemptive purpose, from sin. Gods Highest Honor and Glory was to be through the redemptive work of Christ and not in adam as an innocent.

Proverbs agrees Prov 16:4

4The Lord hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil.

The LORD here is the Triune Godhead, which includes Christ, and so He Christ made Adam for Himself, for a redemptive purpose from sin. 17

Eternal Life through Christ was promised before Adam was Created Titus 1:2

In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;

Rom 6:23

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

1 Jn 2:25

And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life.

1 Jn 5:11

And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.

The point here that needs to be made is that this Eternal Life was never to be through Adam, but always through Christ, and that through redemption. At best Adam even if he never sinned would only have had for us natural life, which is far inferior to the Heavenly Eternal Life God promised for His People before the world began. The Heavenly Kingdom God designed and promised could not be inherited by flesh and blood which was what Adam was. 1 Cor 15:50

Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. Matt 25:34

Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

Christ was appointed heir of the world through redemption glory before the world was made by Him Heb 1:2-3

2
Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;

3
Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high:

Paul writes also in Col 1 how all things were made by and for Christ Col 1:14-17

14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: See Heb 1:3

15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:

16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

17 And he is before all things,
and by him all things consist. 17

Folks what came first, The Eternal Purpose of God Eph 3:11;2 Tim 1:9 or Creation of the world with Adam and Eve ?

This world was created for a merciful purpose !

No not for all men without exception but for them called the vessels of mercy Rom 9

21Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?

22
What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction:

23 And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory,

This Glory comes through Jesus Christ . Jesus says of these vessels of mercy Jn 17:20-23

[20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;

21
That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.

22And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:

2 Tim 2:10

Therefore I endure all things for the elect's sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.

Now this merciful purpose unto eternal glory for the vessels of mercy necessitated by the purpose of God, sin coming into the world through Adam. 17

Prov 3:19

The Lord by wisdom hath founded the earth; by understanding hath he established the heavens.

Christ the Redeemer/Savior is the Wisdom of God 1 Cor 1:24

24 But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.

Thats why all things were made by Him and for Him Col 1:16

16For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him[Christ the Wisdom of God], and for him:

God created this world for a merciful purpose in Christ so that He would make known the riches of His Glory,

Rom 9:23

23 And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory,

John Gill says of this sacred phase "the riches of his glory "

And that he might make known the riches of his glory,.... That is, his glorious riches, the perfections of his nature, his love, grace, and mercy, his wisdom, power, faithfulness, justice, and holiness; all which are most evidently displayed in the salvation of his people, here called vessels of mercy,

23 And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared [in Christ not in Adam] unto glory,

It wasn't never in Gods Eternal Purpose and Wisdom to make known the "riches of His Glory" in Adam, but in the Redemption from sin through Christ! 18

We know that this world was created for a redemptive in Christ since by Him and for Him [Christ] all things were made Col 1:16

16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

And was He not in the eternal purpose of God the Lamb slain from the foundation ? Rev 13:8;1 Pet 1:20 ?

See if Adam would have obeyed Gods directive not to eat of that particular fruit, and would have preserved man in Adam in a state of obedience and innocence, then that would have overcome and brought to nothing Christ having been setup and ordained slain from the foundation of the world. 18

When God gave Adam the command not to eat of that particular tree in the garden, was it within the design of already having purposed Christ as the Lamb slain, meaning His death, and the glories which should follow ? Lk 24:26

Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory?

Isn't this the same Glory Christ had before the world was Jn 17:5

5 And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.

Was not this Salvation Glories ? 1 Pet 1:10-11

10 Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you:

11
Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.

And was this in view of Christs exaltation to be a prince and a saviour Acts 5:31

31 Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.

Now if the sin of man in Adam, if it wasn't predestinated by God, then it was to occur by some power outside of Himself which He had no prior knowledge of until it happened. If u then say God did have knowledge of it beforehand, then it must also be concluded that God determined still that it happen lest He lacked the ability to have stopped it from happening.

The Elect of God, for the Praise of the Glory of Gods Grace, had been appointed to Salvation through Jesus Christ before Adam was created up on the earth 2 Thess 2:13-14

13 But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:

14 Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Thess 5:9

For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,

Beforehand or prior to creation the elect were designated vessels of mercy Rom 9:23-24
23 And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory,

24
Even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?

The words afore prepare are proētoimasen:

To prepare or appoint beforehand, predestine. From pro and hetoimazo; to fit up in advance. See their fall in Adam was part of fitting them up in advance for the eternal glory in Christ 2 Tim 2:10

10 Therefore I endure all things for the elect's sakes, that they[The elect] may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.

This Eternal Glory was appointed the elect, which never could have been through Adam, the most glory they could have obtained through Adam would have been earthy, because he was from the earth 1 Cor 15:47

The first man is of the earth, earthy; the second man is the Lord from heaven. The Glory God had in store for the elect was always heavenly through the Heavenly Man vs 48-49

As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.

And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.

Even if Adam had not sinned, he was only flesh and blood, which scripture states 1 Cor 15:50

Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.18

It was always Gods purpose in Creation to show forth His Saving Grace in Christ. Paul writes Eph 2:6-7

6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. 19

What was Gods purpose in giving Adam the command not to eat of the specific tree ? Gen 2:16-17

16 And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:

17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it:
for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

Was it in harmony with the fact that Christ would come into the world and die for sin and afterwards be highly exalted ? Phil 2:5-9
5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:

7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:

8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him
, and given him a name which is above every name:

So when Adam was Created everything was very good because all was Created to serve His Eternal Purpose and the final exaltation of Christ to be a Prince and a Saviour Acts 5:31

31 Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.
