Matthew 6:14-15?

No, it means you were never born again.

The born again forgive as they were forgiven.
Really

Were those who are found in Jn 15:6 were withered and gathered up to be burned never born again, never spirit filled believers in Christ?

Really

They were on the vine, but not of the vine, for whatever reason did not fully partake of its life, which is why they withered and died.

Then premise 1) is wrong and false doctrine
Matt 5:7
7 Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.

Thks

Live & walk by the spirit!

Romans 8:13
For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

Romans 8:14
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

Gal 5:25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

A big “if”?

Matthew 10:38
And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.

Matthew 16:24
Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

Matthew 16:25
For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.

John 12:24
Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.

25
He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.

Romans 5:3
And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; 4)
And patience, experience; and experience, hope:

Romans 8:17
And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

2 Corinthians 12:9
And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

2 Thessalonians 1:5
Which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer:

Colossians 1:11
Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;

2 Tim 2:3 Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.

Ex 20 obey the Ten Commandments
Deut. 6:4 obey the two greatest commandments
Matt 28:20 obey christ’s commandments
Acts 1:2 obey christ’s commandments
Jn 15:4 abide in Christ
Mk 13:13 endure to the end
Matt 24:14 endure to the end
1 Jn 2:24-25 abide and continue in Christ
Rom 8:17 suffer with Christ
Rom 11:22 continue or be cut off
Col 1:21-23 if you continue
Col 2-5 steadfast
2 Tim 2:11-13 suffer
Phil 1:29 suffer for Christ’s sake
Heb 3:4-6 if we hold fast
Heb 6:4-9 fall away
Heb 12:22-25 lost if we turn away

We still have free will and can choose (volition) to reject Christ and the faith and renounce our baptism

2 Timothy 2:12
If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:

Abide in faith, but not faith alone!
The word faith as a powerful work must be defined.

Abide in whose faith? The faith of God the invisible head or of Peter ?

The faith of Christ labor of love is never alone It as shown in Philippian s 2:13 as the power of Christ that works in us to both give us ears to hear his understanding and power to perform it to his good pleasure. No need for Limbo to continue sufferings. The doctrine of wondering.

Why deny him in exchange for more sufferings ?

The creative law of faith . "let there be" and it was "God alone good "

.

Or failure to forgive simply means you are not born again and forgiven.
Well, that's always a possibility. Are you saying all persons who have died and had not forgiven someone are in hell?

Nope. . .

He is simply spelling out the work that must be done in our hearts (which only God does) in order to enter heaven.

So... you're saying that if God doesn't cause you to forgive someone then that is a sign that you are going to hell?

If God is not working in your heart, I'm not sure what evidence you have of salvation.
I would suggest. Be careful how we hear who we say we do. If your own forgiveness works in your heart . . . is that evidence to salvation or self forgiveness ?

Believers will not be found with any righteous as evidence of thier own dying flesh (no faith, dead). They have no power living in dying bodies under the judgment of God, death appointed to all once.

What the dead need are living words . (Lazarus rise wake up ,) Eternal Words of Spirit. . . life giving words . . . " let life be " And "Adam jumped for joy" .

I would say the evidence of his joyous love drawing mankind to its kindness as forgiveness. .Then we can forgive ourselves and have peace in our new hearts as well as with others .Only Gods Holy Spirit can pay the wage of eternal sin . In. . . . yoked with Christ, the daily sufferings can be lighter with a living hope beyond the grave.

@makesends for some reason thinks I am trolling you ... so I'll end further discussion.
Hey, bro. I was thinking it was funny. I was having fun. I'm serious! It was funny—you pressing for a resolution to your terms! If you and @Eleanor had widely divergent beliefs, it would not have been, and I would have actually meant you were out of line to keep on like that. But I thought you were picking at her. I thought both you and @Eleanor were enjoying yourselves! Sorry for the misunderstanding.

I felt no disrespect nor antagonism toward you, nor did I think you did toward her. You can ask her if I have not pressed her in worse fashion, both for fun and in a very sincere, yet friendly way, over our different use of things Paul said. One discussion went, I think, several weeks, in private. (Oh, and I had to concede she was right; good thing we kept that one private —I hate being wrong.)

Whatever!

Matt 25:30 And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
