Is there a connection?

In Romans 3:31, it says that our faith does not abolish God's law, but rather our faith establishes it, yet you seek to abolish it rather than establish it.
It's not our human faith signified as dead in trespasses and sin . His faith or labor of love that establishing his law .Its his faith that works in us not of our own selves . Yoked with him our daily burdens can be made lighter .

God's righteousness is eternal (Psalms 119:142), therefore all of His laws for how to act in accordance w its His righteousness are also eternal (Psalms 119:142), so any instructions that God has ever given for how to act in accordance with His righteousness are eternally valid regardless of which covenant someone is under. For example, committing adultery was a sin that is contrary to God's righteousness in Genesis 39:9 long before the Mosaic Covenant was made, during it, it remained a sin after the Mosaic Covenant became obsolete, and if the way to act in accordance with God's righteousness were to ever change, then God's righteousness would not be eternal.

So Hebrew 7:12 could not be referring to a change of the law in regard to its content, such as with is becoming righteous to commit adultery or sinful to help the poor, but rather the context is referring to a change of the priesthood, which would also require a change of the law in regard to its administration.

In Deuteronomy 13:1-5, the way that God instructed His children to determine that someone is a false prophet who is not speaking for Him was if they taught against obeying the Mosaic Law, so even if the correct interpretation of Hebrews 7:12 was that we are now following a different God with a different set of laws, then we should still obey the Mosaic Law. The bottom line is that we must obey God rather than man, so we should be quicker to disregard everything that any man has said than to disregard anything that God has commanded.

I agree we can empowered by God obey God according to the law of His mighty faith. Let there be and it was God alone good . The unseen power that works in those born again. Previously under the letter of the law( scripture the book of law) death. . . . . . . .Thou shall not or you've dead never to rise to new born again life

Romans 3:30-31King James Version Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith,(power of God ) and uncircumcision through faith. Do we then make void the law through faith? (Christ's alone work of faith a labor of His love) )God forbid: yea, we establish the law.( death)

Romans 7:6 But now we are delivered from the law (scripture, as it is written ) , that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.(dead never to rise to new life)

Romans 7:6 But now we are delivered from the law (scripture, as it is written ) , that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.(dead never to rise to new life)

In Romans 7, Paul said that the Law of God is good and that he wanted to do good, but contrasted that with the law of sin that was working within his members to cause him not to do the good that we want to do. In Romans 7:7, Paul said that the Law of God is not sinful, but is how we know what sin is, and when our sin is revealed, then that leads us to repent and causes sin to decrease, however, in Romans 7:5, the law of sin stirs up sinful passions in order to bear fruit unto death, so it is sinful and causes sin to increase. In Romans 7:22-23, Paul said that he delighted in the Law of God, but contrasted that with the law of sin that held him captive, and in Romans 7:6, Paul spoke about being set free from a law that held us captive, so he was speaking about the law of sin, not the being set free from Scripture as it is written. In regard to the oldness of the letter:

2 Corinthians 3:6 who has made us sufficient to be ministers of a new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.

In Jeremiah 31:33, the New Covenant involves God putting His law in our minds and writing it on our hearts, and in Ezekiel 36:26-27, it involves God taking away our hearts of stone, giving us hearts of flesh, and sending His Spirit to lead us in obedience to His law. In Exodus 33:13, Moses wanted God to be gracious to him by teaching him to walk in His way that he and Israel might know him, in 1 Kings 2:1-3, God taught how to walk in His way through the Law of Moses, and in John 17:3, eternal life is knowing God and Jesus. So eternal life has everything to do with walking in God's way and both Abraham and Moses walked in God's way and taught others to do that in accordance with spreading the Gospel of the Kingdom.

Moreover, there are many verses that connect God's way and the Law of Moses with life. In Deuteronomy 30:11-20, says that the Law of Moses is not too difficult to obey and that obedience to it brings life and a blessing while disobedience brings death and a curse, so choose life! Moreover, Romans 10:5-8 references Deuteronomy 30:11-20 as the word of faith that we proclaim. In Deuteronomy 32:45-46, the Mosaic Law is our very life. In Proverbs 3:18, it is a Tree of Life for all who take hold of it. In Proverbs 6:23, for the commandment is a lamp and the teaching a light, and the reproofs of discipline are the way of life. In Revelation 22:14, those who obeyed God's commandments are given the right to eat from the Tree of Life. In Hebrews 5:9, Jesus has become a source of eternal salvation for those who obey him. In John 14:6-7, Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and the way to know the Father. In Matthew 19:17, Jesus said that the way to enter eternal life is by obeying God's commandments. In Luke 10:25-28, obedience to the greatest two commandments is the way to inherit eternal life. In Romans 2:6-7, those who persist in doing good will be given eternal life. In Romans 6:19-23, no longer presenting ourselves as slaves to impurity, lawlessness, and sin is contrasted with now presenting ourselves as slaves to God and to righteousness leading to sanctification and the goal of sanctification is eternal life in Christ, which is the gift of God, so being an obeyer of the Law of Moses is the content of God's gift of eternal life.

So if we are to believe that the whole Bible is true, then we need to understand what 2 Corinthians 3:6 says about the letter bringing death in a way that is in agreement with these others verses rather than a way that contradicts them. If following the letter refers to following Scripture as it is written and that leads to death, then God should not be trusted to guide us, so clearly following the letter is not referring to following Scripture as written.

I see that a little differently the letter of the law death as scripture It is impossible to obey being dead in one trespass and sin under a curse to die once (no retrial) Moses represent the letter "death" with its daily suffering hell Christ represent the law of faith

God's way is the law of Moses his own law Not law after dying mankind (Moses or any man) .The just "death" and the justifier life .They must be mixed to make one new perfect law made of two .Two. . the one witness God has spoke

There are many verses that you can interpret as speaking against obeying God if you want, but they don't have to be, and you should be quicker to think that you must have misunderstood them than to think that it makes perfect sense to interpret servants of God as speaking against obeying Him.

The Law of God leads us to do what is holy, righteous, and good (Romans 7:12), so it is a law where holiness, righteousness, and goodness have dominion over us. In Romans 7, Paul said that he wanted to do good, but that the law of sin was working within his members to stir up sinful passions to cause him not to do the good that he wanted to, so the law of sin is a law where sin had dominion over us. In Romans 6:14, it describes the law that we are not under as being a law where sin had dominion over us, so Paul was speaking about not being under the law of sin, not the Law of God. In Romans 6:15, being under grace does not mean that we are permitted to sin, and in 1 John 3:4, sin is the transgression of the Law of God, so we are still under it and obligated to refrain from doing what it reveals to be sin.

Moreover, everything else in Romans 6 speaks in favor of obedience to God and against sin. For example, in Romans 6:19-23, we are no longer to present ourselves as slaves to impurity, lawlessness, and sin, but are now to present ourselves as slaves to God and to righteousness leading to sanctification, and the goal of sanctification is eternal life in Christ, which is the gift of God, so interpreting Romans 6:14 as referring to the Law of God rather than the law of sin is interpreting as being in support of rejecting God's gift of eternal life.

If you interpret a verse as speaking against obeying God, then I see three options:

1.) Think that you must have misinterpreted the verse and continue to obey God

2.) Think that the verse is false and continue to obey God.

3.) Think that it makes perfect sense to interpret a servant of God as speaking against obeying Him and disobey God.

Option #3 is absurd and #2 is not acceptable for those who believe in the truth of the Bible, but the bottom line is that we must obey God rather than man, so it is better to pick #2 than #3, so the best option would be for you to go with #1.

The Spirit is God, so it is absurd to interpret those verses as saying that the Spirit leads us away from obeying the Law of God, especially when the Spirit has the role of leading us to obey it (Ezekiel 36:26-27).

15 The LORD thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken;
God the Father is saying He will raise up a profit (Jesus) and we must listen to Him (Jesus) Jesus was put in charge of everything until the end then he will turn over every thing back to God the Father
