Notice how different this preaching of the gospel is from what is typically found in other theologies. There is no altar call, no invitation to come forward and invite Jesus into your life. No possibility of a false confession. By the end of this sermon, a person knows who he is and how helpless and hopeless. And he knows who Christ is. And Voddie does it all, even though he knows only the called will believe, but that the called will believe, and does not mention it once or even hint at it.

Voddie's story of his son running from the EpiPen was a nice analogy as to our lost condition

Amen to that. He has one on hiding from God relating it to Adam and Eve's instinct after rebelling to hide from him. Which of course, was red- dic-a-lus then and is now. I will look for it when I get a chance and post it.

Hope you find it.

@prisim
I looked and looked and still can't find it. Maybe @Hazelelponi can. She found one I couldn't find once before. Hazel, in it Voddie spoke of Adam and Eve hiding from God after they had sinned, and related that to the hiding that unbelievers do, as though such a thing were possible. We have not fallen far from the "apple" that Eve took from the tree.
