Heresies about the nature / essence of God that are condemned by Christ's authority in His apostolic church! Matt 16:18-19 matt 28:20

Arianism: The belief that Jesus was not fully divine, but was created by God.

Apollinarianism: The belief that Jesus had a human body and soul, but a divine mind.

Docetism: The belief that Jesus' body was an illusion and that he never fully took on human flesh.

Marcionitism: The belief that the God of the Hebrew Bible was evil and separate from the God of the New Testament.

Monophysitism: The belief that Jesus had only one nature, which was neither fully divine nor fully human.

Nestorianism: The belief that Jesus existed as two separate persons, the man Jesus and the divine Son of God.

Pelagianism: The belief that original sin did not taint human nature and that people could choose good or evil without divine help.

Psilanthropism: The belief that Jesus was only human and never became divine.

Sabellianism: The belief that the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are three aspects of one God, rather than three distinct persons.

True christian faith is one God in three persons, the Father, the Son, & the Holy Spirit!

deut 6:4 Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord:

matt 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord God of hosts! Isa 6:3

matt 3:16 And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:

17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

(father, son, & holy spirit)

matt 17: 5 While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.

(father, son, & holy spirit)

matt 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

(father, son, & holy spirit)

1 Jn 5:7 7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

(father, son, & holy spirit)

Amen!

oneness or one God one person debunked again

I come to do thy will!
Thy will be done not my will!

requires two individual persons

Jesus (person one) does the will of the Father (person two)

Jesus Christ is one in divinity with the Father!

the Father & I are one!

one divine nature or essence!

one in being with the Father in divinity not person!

(( must be two persons))

One: The Father

Two: Jesus Christ

both requires two persons, the Father & I are one!

1 Jn 4:14 And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.

cannot send yourself "two persons"

1) the father
sent
2) the son

1 Jn 5:1 Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.

Two persons
you cannot beget yourself!

one God? Yes!

one person? no!

thks
