We have the Holy Spirit at work in us. Is he idle or are we out of focus yet God is focusing on us. Yes, always!

Let us go about the day always acknowleging the Spirit at work in us and let him commune with us.

Let us anticipate God to do a great work in us!

It is not so much what we do for God especially when we do not notice God and let him speak to us and spiritually empower us.

God says man cannot bear witness of himself or else his witness is not true. Jesus said that about Himself even as God.

John 5:31 If I bear witness of myself, my witness is not true.

For a witness to be true, man was to have at least two witnesses.

John 8:17 It is also written in your law, that the testimony of two men is true.

We see this in the O.T. & the N.T. where by His words, the witness of one cannot put anyone to death.

Deuteronomy 17:6At the mouth of two witnesses, or three witnesses, shall he that is worthy of death be put to death; but at the mouth of one witness he shall not be put to death.

Deuteronomy 19:15One witness shall not rise up against a man for any iniquity, or for any sin, in any sin that he sinneth: at the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses, shall the matter be established.

Matthew 18:15 Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.16 But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.

So what God commands of men, to bear a true witness, so as God does.

Elohim is a Hebrew plural form of God and yet that is the Hebrew word for that One God. Jews cannot deny it. they try to explain away this;

Genesis 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. 27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

That was the Word of God asking the Father to create man after "Their" image, after "Their" likeness and when the Father agreed, They did it as the One God with the Spirit in compliance.

Same thing when that One Triune God judged the people at Babylon.

Genesis 11:6 And the Lord said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. 7 Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech. 8 So the Lord scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city.

Therefore God is not a One Person God by His words and by His actions as there are 3 Witnesses in that One God for how He can testify of Himself and to judge any one by His words.

Isaiah 48:16 Come ye near unto me, hear ye this; I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; from the time that it was, there am I: and now the Lord God, and his Spirit, hath sent me. 17 Thus saith the Lord, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the Lord thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.

The Lord God Father & His Spirit sent Jesus as He is God, Our Redeemer. That was why the witness of the Holy Ghost alighting on Jesus when God the Father spoke from Heaven regarding Jesus being God was done to fulfill the prophesy that the Lord God and His Spirit sent Jesus.

Matthew 3:15 And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him. 16 And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: 17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

Like it or not, the Three Witnesses in John 5:7 was originally scripture because that is how the witness of god is greater then men's in the earth.

1 John 5: 6 This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth. 7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. 8 And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one. 9 If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son.

Look at the church at Thyatira..... Jesus recognized their works and yet still has something against them that they needed to depart from or else be left behind as cast into the bed of the coming great tribulation.

Revelation 2:18 And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass; 19 I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last to be more than the first. 20 Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols. 21 And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not. 22 Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds. 23 And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works. 24 But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden. 25 But that which ye have already hold fast till I come.

So you cannot say to any wayward or even former believers that they are not God's people, but you can correct them with His words in Christ's love when they are not following Him as they ought.

Yes, even former believers because Jesus Christ still abides in them for why we are t seek their good to go to Jesus Christ for help to see their errors and the truth in His words to return to Him as well as His help to repent from living in sin or from engaging in dead religious works or from even a supernatural phenomenon that denies Him, so that they too may be received by Him as that vessel unto honor in His House when He comes as the Bridegroom.

2 Timothy 2:10 Therefore I endure all things for the elect's sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory. 11 It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him: 12 If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us: 13 If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.

Those who do not depart from iniquity and get denied by Him and left behind, are still in His House as they will die, but their spirits will be with the Lord in Heaven to wait for their resurrection after the great tribulation as damned as vessels unto dishonor in His House., vessels of wood ad earth, serving the King of kings on earth.

2 Timothy 2:18 Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some. 19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. I need the Lord's help everyday as I am no superman nor super Christian, but He is my stay as I trust him to keep me from falling and to present me faultless to his glory and to the glory of God the Father.

What is the principle of the antichrist, but to lead us away from honoring the Son as in "instead of Christ"?

That is what the spirits of the antichrist does with its visitations of signs and lying wonders that they take that sharing of the Holy Spirit with the Father & Son in worship to steal its solely on them in seducing saved believers in chasing after them, thinking that is the Holy Spirit visiting them with signs ad lying wonders.

God will allow that strong delusion to occur because of that iniquity of not heeding His words that you can only come to the Father through the Son and you can only honor the Father through the Son Whom is the Holy Spirit testifying of to glorify thru us in leading us to do.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

It is a work of iniquity to go around the Son in coming to God the Father by, yea even Jesus warned of false prophets broadening the way in an ecumenical format by that modified Nicene creed of 381 A.D. to not heed His words at all while they ad to His words.

The consequence for not narrowing the way back to that straight gate in worship, prayer, and fellowship is being left behind at the rapture.

So pray to the Lord Jesus Christ for wisdom for I know how hard it was for Him to get through to me because I could not fathom nor consider that my church was led astray that was leading me astray too.

Hope in Jesus Christ to help you be a disciple of Jesus Christ in following Him rather than a disciple of a church in following the crowd.

Since it is on God to cause the increase and recover any from the snares of the devil, that should not stop you from correcting them in scripture and telling them the truth while praying for them as you ask them to go to Jesus in prayer for help to see the truth and for departing from sins.

if they do not want to hear it, you can always pray for them because it is still on God to minister and He can reach anyone if He so wills it.

Jesus taught His disciples for how to abide in Him and when they are not.

3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.

And the basis for all relationships is trusting the Lord Jesus Christ as our personal Good Shepherd & friend to help us to follow Him and abide in His words to bear fruit as His disciples so that our joy may be full.

All who hope in the Lord Jesus Christ for all things, shall never be put to shame.

That nobody can know if they are abiding in Jesus Christ or not?

Assurance of salvation is this if you love your God with all your heart, soul, strength, and mind until the end.

Jesus says that's the most important commandment.

You guys are judging yourself as faithful already. This is the arrogant spirit which is not of God.

That is only self-assurance.

Jesus says you will be judged according to what you have done.

Jesus is the Judge of salvation, not anyone else, not Triun god believers.

Jesus is the Lord.

Since Jesus tells us to love our enemies, then we can believe in Jesus Christ to provide us the love we need to love our enemies, and He will.

John 6:28 Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? 29 Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.

That is why when t comes to any professing believer living in sin, or doing religious works that deny him or engaging in supernatural apostasy that denies Him, they are to go to Jesus Christ in prayer for help to be found abiding in Him before He comes as he is waning saved believers to be ready or else and so we cannot get ready without Him.

When did I say that I was faithful when I have been declaring He is faithful as my Good Shepherd & Friend to help me to follow Him daily?

Jesus says you will be judged according to what you have done.

Jesus is the Judge of salvation, not anyone else, not Triun god believers.

Jesus is the Lord.

Not Triune God believers? We can only correct others in scriptures and judged that which is not of the Lord, but the Lord has to deliver them.

Jesus has already issued judgments for why saved believers are to look to Him for help to be ready as found abiding in him & His words as well as being willing to go or else.

And usually when people speak against the Triune God, they are denying the deity of Jesus Christ and so here is a warning from Him on that issue.

John 8:23 And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world. 24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.

Again, the first commandment has been switched out under the New Covenant yet all the while keeping the second commandment.

I believe this is so because the Jews failed to do the first commandment under the Old Covenant for why now by believing in Jesus Christ for all things, He will supply the love we need to love others, including our enemies for why it is written that the just shall live by faith in Jesus Christ.

Are you @grace2 saying Jesus' words "Love your neighbor as yourself," is a second commandment added to God's commandments. a half-truth and not something that should be accepted as something God commanded? Or is your complaint specifically about the Ten Commandments, the Decalogue? And, @ChristB4us, am I to understand the premise Jesus added a new commandment on this occasion is agreeable to, and confirmed by you?

Leviticus 19:18
You shall not take vengeance, nor hold any grudge against the sons of your people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself; I am the LORD.

Jesus was quoting from the Law. Nearly everything he taught came straight out of Tanakh, if not the Torah alone.
