I beg to differ...as I said the climate change will not be caused by man made industry or cows farting...Rev tells us

Rev 16 8Then the fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and it was given power to scorch the people with fire. 9And the people were scorched by intense heat, and they cursed the name of God, who had authority over these plagues. Yet they did not repent and give Him glory.

The above is a supernatural climate change.

And yet you have gone on record agreeing climate change is not spoken of in Revelation. Stated plain as day for all to read in Post 18.

For the record, Revelation 16:8 does not actually mention any climate. What it states is the angel's bowl was poured out on the sun and the sun was given the power to scorch people with fire. It refers to the scorching fire as plagues. No mention of climates, nor climate changes. There's not even any mention of weather or changes in the weather. This presents one of two problems: either your personal ability to read and understand scripture correctly is poor, or the teaching you've received that taught you Rev. 18:6 is about climate change is poor. It could be both but either way you are personally responsible for and accountable for explaining why a verse that nowhere mentions climate was misused to support a position of God-made climate change. Fire from the sun could fall just as much on the north and south poles as it could on the tropics. That is not climate change.


Did you read the verse before posting it? A simple reading would have prevented Post 20.

More importantly. you're exacerbating the already existing contradiction where in one post you say climate change is mentioned in Revelation and is eschatologically relevant to the separated rapture to which you subscribe and then in another post it is agreed there is no mention of climate change in Revelation. Those two positions cannot simultaneously occur. Your own posts contradict one another.

Weather changes. Climates do not.

Differ all you like but irrational differing is worthless.


The hail of Rev. 8 or the implied drought of Rev. 16 would have been better alternatives but even then, 1) the events are not global and 2) some account would have to be provided for not interpreting those verses figuratively. Otherwise, there is no mention of climate change in Revelation and not much mention of global changes in the weather, either. People who teach Revelation that way either haven't actually read the book and/or are teaching a baseless doctrine, not scripture as written. Before you respond to this post give the book of Revelation a read consciously looking for specific examples of weather change and/or climate change. Don't post without the scripture to back up the post. Don't post more self-contradiction, either.

Well, man was not manipulating the weather in 1920-1935. Man's "products" do affect the weather to a small degree, but the God above is the Creator of Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter and their results.​

The Dust Bowl event however was uniquely human caused. The western Great Plains were excessively plowed and the natural heat cycle lifted the topsoil bc winds were not interrupted by forest belts. FDR created a 5 state zone from ND to TX and planted millions of trees and shrubs to break up the same wind pattern. I think 90 % of these are still in place. This employed millions of men during the depression.

Today animal management is changing things. There are desertified areas where beavers have been introduced, and in 3 weeks there are positive results in some cases. Scientists expect their work to have a worthwhile result going forward.

But generally you are correct and there are many cycles at work. Look up the book LITTLE ICE AGE also a film.

Not shown there is that the real drastic warming of earth was right after the cataclysm. The early stage of that event piled ice over a mile deep in the 10-40 window and north of it. Then that melted and collapsed, raising seas several hundred feet.

Glaciers that are retreating now are the tail end of that event. In Juneau AK, the Mendenhall’s face was near high tide when Cook observed in 1760, 6 miles out from current face. In 1930 the face was 2 miles out from current. This was entirely natural. There was no major industry here 1760–1930. There still is not but several thousand live here as the state Capitol.

Placing emphasis upon our current cycle does nothing to end "climate changes." It simply calls attention to those "climate change" advocates who want to make a name for themselves.
