● 2Cor 13:5 . . Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own
selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be
reprobates?

The acid test is possession of eternal life because according to God's testimony-- as
an expert witness in all matters pertaining to Christianity --people lacking eternal
life are lacking unity with His son. In other words: no matter what their religious
preference, no matter how pious they might be-- they are currently quite christless.

● 1John 5:11-12 . . This is what God has testified: He has given us eternal life, and
this life is in His son. So whoever has God's son has this life; and whosoever does
not have this life, does not have His son.

Quite a number of the religious folk I've encountered during my 80+ years sincerely
believe eternal life is something obtained on the other side instead of this side. But
note the grammatical tense of the passages below: it's present tense rather than
future, indicating that folks properly unified with Christ have eternal life right now:
no delay and no waiting period.

● John 3:36 . . He who believes in the Son has eternal life

● John 6:47 . .Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes has eternal life.

● John 5:24 . . I assure you, those who heed my message, and trust in God who
sent me, have eternal life. They will never be condemned for their sins, but they
have already passed from death into Life.

● 1John 5:13 . . I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of
God so that you may know that you have eternal life.

I would offer.

Yes. destroying purgatory or limo ( extended life) . The cause of the fall (You shall not surely die and your flesh return to dust God is a liar.

Not seeing God (the invisible head ) Receiving the end of salvation from the beginning "Let there be" and "the bride was perfect"

Christians are informed I believe according to 1 Peter.

Now yoked with Christ we have a faith with power to believe and do the will. The food the disciples knew not of at first . I call our daily bread . the first meal after the fast . Like David said ..When I awake you are still there.

1 peter 7 That the trial of your (new) faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.

You can do that only if you give your life to God and Jesus and serve Them until the end.

How do we do that? By reading and striving to obey what Jesus commands us to do.

Jesus is the Judge if we are true servants or not.
