I hope we all agree that scripture is the final authority. All things should be tested by scripture.
Good, I’m glad we all agree?

Question:
Can anyone give me one (just one) example where salvation was initiated by man in scripture?

I cannot, and I've looked intently for it.

However, an absence of something is not proof of anything and arguments from silence are to be avoided. The larger fact of scripture is that it nowhere attributes the initiation of any salvation to the individual being saved but it frequently does make that attribution of God.

Sinner = 0
God = bunch of mentions

The score shows God wins the contest over who initiates 😁.
