Who is Babylon the great?

Yes it’s not saying that they killed everyone just that the wrath of everyone killed will come upon her
God does not make people or nations responsible for other`s actions.

God does not make people or nations responsible for other`s actions.
He didn’t make them responsible everyone is responsible for their own actions and will pay for them if they don’t repent He just said that the wrath would come on them

However, it seems that you are saying that Jerusalem is going to get God`s wrath because of all the slain of the earth. Is that so?

Yes I believe that they got that wrath back in 70AD. But it was their own wrath for rejecting and killing their God and Messiah and then claiming that they have no king but Cesar. They rejected God and went after other gods

Not for all the slain of the earth, though. There are still more to die and who will be responsible for those?

Dan 2: 44 And in the days of these kings (Roman Caesars) shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.

Rev 21: 10 And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,

11 Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal;

Lk 1:32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:

Plotting revenge on Mystery Babylon

God does to her what she does to the saints.
See Revelation 18:20:

NIV “Rejoice over her, you heavens! Rejoice, you people of God! Rejoice, apostles and prophets! For God has judged her with the judgment she imposed on you.”

What is God's judgement on her (Mystery Babylon?)

Revelation 17:16 And the ten horns which you saw on the beast, these will hate the harlot, make her desolate and naked, eat her flesh and burn her with fire.

She will be burned with fire. And that is what she will do to the saints.

Where do we see the saints crying out for revenge? Where does the Mystery Babylon burn the saints with fire?

Relax, your incessant fervor is turning into a crusade to protect an ancient nation of idolatrous and rebellious people, who rejected their God, Israel. In part she already has suffered God's wrath to some degree.

The Lord is reported to have said, "See! Your house is left to you desolate" Why? She "killed prophets and stones those who are sent to her." Desolation is the same as wilderness...then the Romans, she, ancient Israel has been laid to waste, by God Himself and there is more to come.

You took Marty way off of his point to banter about "your personal truth" come on you can do better than that, right?

Hi TATII,

I do appreciate correction, and I do have fervor, however, it is NOT for Israel but for God and His word.

And note, there was over a month since my last comment and others have commented since.

You will notice the difference between `all who have been slaughtered & just the `all the righteous blood.` (I put them in bold)
This is not a difference. "All who have been slaughtered" was a phrase descriptive in that very same verse of the slaughter of God's holy people and the prophets who had been sent.

I have heard others make the same objection: that God would not punish one generation for the sins committed by their forefathers. However, this does not take into account the peculiar offense of first-century Jerusalem being the "betrayers and murderers" of Christ, as the martyr Stephen accused them.

Christ was the representative of all the righteous who were considered to be "IN Him". He was their ambassador. In a political scenario, when a country's own ambassador and diplomat visits another nation and is slain by someone in that other nation, this is the equivalent of an offense against the entire nation of people which that diplomat represented.

Just so with that first-century generation at Jerusalem which slew their own promised Messiah, who was the high priest representative of all the righteous slain on the earth until then. For that first-century generation to kill Christ, (the diplomatic representative of everyone in that kingdom of God), this also brought down upon them the blood guilt of every child of God in that kingdom who had been slain.

Yes amen great post

Babylon the Great simply means 'a large false religion'. That religion is ISLAM.

I would offer.

The tower of Babble. . the division of all the nations as kingdoms of this world Babylon all the kingdoms of this world.

Satan the father of lies promised the son of man, Jesus if would only bow down to his lying spirit as the god of this world system he would give Jesus all the kingdoms of this world .

The Father in heaven gave his prophet Jesus words to rebuke him three times as it is written "sola scriptura" struck him out

I think we all have or favorite preachers must we must be careful how we hear who we hear.

We are warned of the many antichrists'(false teachers ) dying mankind, insisting men must teach them and not the promised Holy Spirit.

1 John2: 26-27 These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you. But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

I would offer an example in Revelation 2 , There the congregation was trusting in what Nickodemus, like a Pope was teaching. the recipe for cults. Did God really say? Only we have the understanding? The Jonestown mass slaughter or others

Some lost thier first love that empowered them to do the first works God. God working in them to both reveal his will and empower them to do it His good pleasure . Some were doing to the pleasure if Nicodemus venerating him and not God.

God lovingly calling some back to repentance

Revelation 2:2-6 I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars:And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name's sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted.Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent. But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitanes, which I also hate.
