Somewhere somehow I've been under the impression that drafts (not yet posted) are saved. But I have been unable to retrieve mine.

That's a good question. It happened to me a few times, but I don't know what I did for it to happen. Other times I lost them.

Maybe they accumulate somewhere, like tenths of a percent of a penny in banking issues, to turn into whopping good value!

@Carbon

You are not thinking of the set up in the forum for that, are you? Because I believe that saving of the draft is in regards to the e-mail system of your computer rather than in a Christian forums. Maybe that is what you are thinking of?

Unless any one has recalled a draft that was saved but did not go to post in a Christian forum, but I think you are referring to your computer's e-mail system.

I really am not sure of many features. I have the basics, I believe, and, I'm learning as I go.

Okay. Well, since I am not a Mod nor an Administrator of any Christian forum, I do not know what you are referring to then.

They do save at the bottom section of the thread(s) you were replying to. If you go back to that thread it should still be there.

At CF, the draft is saved on site, (though I have not always been able to retrieve them there).

Oh, yeah, that's true, sometimes popping up into another reply you meant for someone else!

Okay. Now I understand what you are referring to. Thank you for the clarification.

It just happened to me again, but on an OP I was writing (not a response within a thread). Lol, telling myself God didn't want my foolishness posted!

Later: Wow! I just went to rewrite it, and there it was! Cool!

I am just seeing this which was posted a long time ago. I don't know if you ever got the question answered but here is the answer.

Click on the little envelope in top bar. It will say "save draft" and "delete draft". Click "save draft". If it is a response in a thread, it will still be there when you come back. If an OP click the category you were working in and when it comes up, click "Post Thread" and the one you were working on will come up.

Thanks. Sadly, my problem is more often that I've been working on something and I am the one who kills the page it is on, undone. Sometimes, if I regenerate the page, it will show up; sometimes not.

But yeah, I didn't know about the 'save' feature. Thanks.
