Last day of what? This "era"? The last day before the 1000 year reign?

We are in the last day signified as a thousand years.

They began with the veil was rent (1st century reformation )

I did not say one thing about not studying prophecy. But being ready and studying prophecy----according to the Bible, not according to the news and using that to interpret prophecy---are not mutually exclusive.

I considered things such as "internet blips, and the news, the stars and white horses." as elements of prophecy.

But being ready and studying prophecy----according to the Bible, not according to the news and using that to interpret prophecy---are not mutually exclusive.

Today's news and what the world has become fits many of the 'end time" prophecies. Back in September I started this thread.

I think we can look at prophecy, news, technology, etc. to help us present a "window".

Here's 15 off the top of my head.

For example Israel becoming a nation again is one indicator.
The Ezekiel nation alignment is a second. Russia aligning with Iran, Turkey and the other nations mentioned in that text. Sometimes it's hard to convert from the old nation names to the current nation names. Currently those nations appear to be aligned against Israel.
3.....Technology has been developed that would allow for the mark of the Beast to be employed. It's not quite there but almost there.
4....The Gospel pretty much has been preached to the entire world.
5....The NWO, UN as well as the WEF are working on a one world Government.
6....Plans for the new Temple in Israel are well under way.
7....A "peace treaty" known as the Abrahamic accord has been drafted.
8....The "like the days of Noah" is pretty much here. Transhumanism is being developed and rolled out.
9....AI currently is becoming closer to the "singularity. Rev 13:15 may be the singularity.
10...Peole are traveling to and fro..and knowledge is increasing at a startling rate.
11...A one world currency is being established.
12.... UN "peace and security" statue.
13...Many false Churches.
14....Wars and rumors of Wars. Though this seem to have always been happening.
15....Earthquakes in diverse places? I don't know if I would count the many "small" earthquakes but would expect to hear of major earthquakes happening every month or perhaps every week.

Currently we seem to be in that window. This list was derived from biblical prophetic interpretation.

Well they aren't. Surely you have heard the hermeneutic--scripture interprets scripture. It is not the news and speculation about the news etc. that interprets Scripture. So if you are not using that metric, then your interpretation is going to be wrong, no matter how right it seems to you. That is one of the main places dispensationalists went utterly wacko.

I am not in the least impressed or persuaded. You are looking in the wrong direction and in the wrong place. How many times are you going to post that exact same list? Why was it Jesus said to the Pharisees? They watched for signs in nature and could not even discern what was right in front of them. And who was right in front of them? The very King of the kingdom they were searching the skies for. Keep your eyes on him.

I don't recall in all of biblical prophecy any such window being mentioned or necessary. The list is derived from horrendous and incorrect prophecy interpretation. The danger in it is the massive number of God's children who have their eyes trained on the sky and the world, and not on Jesus.

The Wisemen knew of the Jewish prophecy concerning the "star"...When the star appeared they went towards it.
Your argument would say they were fools for going after the star. The star was simply speculation.

The bible mentions a "mark" in Rev 13. We can easily look around and see such a "mark" coming to fruition. You then label t as speculation. As no possibility of it coming to fruition.

The prophecy in the bible is the Word of God....inspired and given to the authors of the NT.

If what you are saying is true....then I ask you...WHAT'S NEXT? Does the bible call for a great world wide revival? Does the bible call for a time of world wide tribulation?

Read for comprehension. What they were anticipating, the Messiah however they interpreted Messiah (same way you do I imagine, as an earthly king) was standing right in front of them.
