"The impression that God intended to display by having this temple built of stone instead of just another tabernacle (as in the wilderness wanderings) was for Israel to have a stable, fixed location for sacrificial worship."

Then show me the verse where God chose Solomon by name to build the temple prior to 1 Chron. 28.
