I just finished two very good inspirational books. I didn't buy them because they were Christian books but because they were historical having to do with WWII. But, to my surprise they both carried a Christian theme throughout.
One is called, "Wounded Tiger" by T. Martin Bennett. It's about the Japanese pilot who led the attack on Pearl Harbor who years later would become a Christian. It follows the influence of 3 people, one who he never would meet, that played a role in his salvation.
The other is called, "A Higher Call" by Adam Makos. It's about an American B-17 bomber trying to return to England though his B-17 is shot to pieces. Shouldn't even be in the air. A German fighter pilot goes after it to finish it off. But instead, has a change of heart. And instead tries and does help the bomber get back to England. And though they didn't know it, both the American and German were Christian. Which they would later find out.
Great stories, and true.
