I am only two or three episodes into it so far, but I am really enjoying the show Tulsa King. A great blend of drama, comedy, and action.

Description: Fresh out of prison after a 25-year stint, New York mob enforcer Dwight Manfredi (Sylvester Stallone) is abruptly exiled to Tulsa, Oklahoma, to build a criminal operation from scratch. Far from the rules and hierarchies he knows, Dwight assembles an unlikely crew and learns the rhythms of a very different America. As old-world mafia instincts collide with modern realities, he faces rival criminals, law enforcement pressure, and internal questions of loyalty and purpose. Tulsa King blends crime drama with dry, fish-out-of-water humor, anchored by Stallone’s commanding lead performance.

Available to stream on Paramount+.

Any gratuitous violence? Nudity? Subliminal Leftist propaganda?

I am only a few episodes into the first season, so I don’t really have a basis for answering this question other than, “Not yet.” Manfredi appears to re-enter the mob life by extorting a local cannabis store owner with a protection racket. The existence of a cannabis store—sorry, a licensed medical dispensary—is not exactly “leftist propaganda” so much as portraying real life in Oklahoma. There is also a sort of love interest between Manfredi and an ATF agent who is in the middle of a divorce. Again, not really leftist propaganda so much as depicting real life in the aftermath of leftist propaganda (destroying the nuclear family).

If there is anything woke or that pushes a leftist agenda in this show, I haven’t seen it yet.

The show was created by Taylor Sheridan, who I’ve come to highly esteem. He also created Yellowstone—the only show other than The Last Kingdom that I legitimately binge-watched—Landman, which I am really enjoying (especially its anti-woke moments), and Lioness, which I have only just started but it looks really good. My introduction to Sheridan were the movies Sicario and Hell or High Water, both of which were amazing.

Appreciate the added information but.....

This has long been a device of the Left. That which is portrayed as "normal life," is also both a reflection of liberalism's influence on society and a reflection of their product. If Jack Ripper hadn't portrayed a homosexual masquerading as a homosexual (a now antiquated term that solicits mockery and derision when used) we wouldn't have what GLAAD reports the following for Netflix: 33% of all streaming characters being gay, 24% being lesbian, 25% being bisexual, 2% being straight, and 1% being asexual (personally I question those numbers but this is what GLAAD is telling its audience). Leftist influence is often subtle, and it rarely comes with signs stapled to the characters' foreheads ;).

Yeah, that's Leftist propaganda. Adultery is normal and normalized.

Thanks. My wife and I do not have Paramount+ but we've been considering a switch because of the prevalence of Leftist nonsense in other platforms and what appears to be a plethora of shows of interest in Paramount+ advertisement.
