You said that it was temporarily closed. Conveniently, afterwards, it was opened again, only momentarily, so another post could be added by a "staff member", and then it was closed permanently. But wait, it opened yet again, only momentarily, so one more reply could be added by the administrator. And then it was closed down, again. These were not 'I'm shutting down the thread', posts, but were replies to points made in the thread.

Not that I really give a hoot what staff does here, but I had no problem figuring out that what was going through Dave's mind was staff's abuse of power when they continued discussion in a thread that was already deemed by staff to be CLOSED.

Since it was temporarily closed (i.e., it would soon open back up), how was it an "abuse" of power?

Privilege? Certainly. Abuse? I don't see it.
