Welcome, Hermano. I'm a missionary kid (MK) born and raised in Venezuela. I have never been to the Tepuies. I have yet to visit Brazil, but my oldest sister and family lived in Manaos for years. Her husband was a Missionary Aviation Fellowship bush pilot, also an MK, born in Brazil. I do contract work for a business here in the USA whose owner was born and raised in Brazil. A lot of our product's components were made by the WEG company.

Oseas (Hosea) is one of my favorite books of the Bible. The principle of God's sovereignty and intention making all my assessments concerning life look inconsequential—even my assessments of what God wants/expects of us, and my assessments of what a believer should become—found in that book are part of what made me conclude what I have come to believe.

Are you interested in discussing John 1, or particularly verse 1? We can open a new thread on the subject, which is to me a beautiful play on words. Consider, "....so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.." Isaiah 55:11 But be careful; here for the most part, we insist on considering context (both immediate context and the whole of Scripture) in our deliberations.

Greetings in Christ JESUS, Hermano
It's a pleasure to meet you. Thank you for your kind words and welcome. Our Lord JESUS in His prayer, said to the Father : John 17:22:-> The glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: Amen.

Every day I pray to GOD to bless His people throughout the Earth, granting victories in struggles and difficulties, supplying the needs of each one, and healing the sick among His people. I also ask the Lord to bless each of His servants, my brothers and sisters, and also the children of His servants, and prosper them all in their activities an daily works. Amen.

Well, first of all, my will is to share with my brothers and sisters in Christ, in their topics and posts in general, but mainly on Eschatology.

May our Lord GOD bless us and keep us, and give us His protection
Amen

Thank you very much for your kind words.

It is a joy to meet new brothers and sisters within the Kingdom of GOD.

May our Lord GOD bless us and keep us, and give us His prfotetion
Amen,

Thank you for the clarification, sister. I apologize for the oversight.
Oh, hey, it didn't bother me at all, and it was not the first time I have been addressed as "brother" on forums. Arial can be male or female. I only corrected you so you would know.

Arial can be male or female.

No, it can't. A guy named Arial would be like "A Boy Named Sue."

If this was meant as a joke---it went over my head. It is not unusual for me to not catch your jokes. They are often stated as fact when that is not how you are presenting them. @makesends and @Carbon apparently got it. And it may just be that even though I remember Cash's song, I do not remember the words.

Or it may just be a person's sense of humor---what strikes them as funny. People often don't get my sense of humor either. Example: Yesterday I posted a video to give folks a laugh break and evidently no one found it as funny as I did. Someone sent it to me, and I laughed till tears rolled down my face. So, I thought I would share. I shared it by text to three family members, and nothing.

And---this post is intended as humor. :D When you can't see a face, sometimes emojis help.

I have the same problem. Sometimes I will say something that strikes me as hilarious enough that it needs said to a complete stranger. Sometimes it goes over very well, sometimes nothing but a blank stare. Once I was standing on my porch, and the lady across the street was walking her teacup size Pomeranian puppy, and I yelled out, "CURB YOUR BEAST!!!". I got the blank stare from her, but my brother lost it.

My siblings and I are 9 in all. 5 brothers, including myself. So, competitive 'coolness'. We might think something someone said is funny as get out, but we won't admit it on text, even if we are losing it off text. Usually, I get no response unless one of us thinks we can improve on it.
