Does anyone know where in scripture it says, Adam's sin is imputed unto his posterity (us)?
What does imputation mean, and how is it imputed unto us?

he phrase "in Adam all die" from 1 Corinthians 15:22 means that death, both physical and spiritual, entered the world through Adam's sin, and this condition was passed on to all humanity. This theological concept, related to original sin, explains that all people are subject to death because they are descended from Adam, the first man. The full verse, "For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive,", continues to state that just as all humanity is affected by Adam's sin, all who are in Christ will be made alive through his resurrection

Imputation means to ascribe (righteousness, guilt, etc.) to someone by virtue of a similar quality in another.
How? .... God says so and therefore it is. Psalm 51:5, which is King David's lament. It is interpreted to mean that all people are born with a sinful nature, inherited from the first human sin

great points, as this ties into the concept of a federal headship, for just as all of us were in Adam and partakers of His curse and spiritual death, so now under our new head Jesus spiritual alive

Ro 5:17.

Imputation is what God did to Abraham because 0f his faith (Ge 15:5-6)
It is to charge to, account to, apply to someone.

God charged, accounted, applied (imputed) righteousness to Abraham (Ge 15:6) because of his faith in the promise (Ge 15:5, Seed, Jesus Christ, Gal 3:16) which is how all saving righteousness occurs, as patterned (Ro 5:14) in Gods application of Adam's sin to all those of Adam (Ro 5:18-19).

How does it actually work?..???...Was Adams actual sin imputed or the results of Adams sin..the fall...that resulted in a change in human nature..imputed to the human race?

as Adam being before God the head of Humanity, whatever he received from God in the fall got passed along to us, and also the blessings of Jesus spiritually are passed to us who are now in Christ, as he is now our new head

If by "passed along," you mean "inherited," that would be incorrect. . .we do not inherit sin (Eze 18:20).

Adam's sin is imputed (charged, accounted, reckoned) by God to all those of Adam Ro 5:17, 18-19), which is the pattern (Ro 5:14) for Christ's righteousness being imputed by God to all those of Christ (Ro 5:18-19).

Yes, we do not inherit SIN. It is a sloughing of terms to say that we do.

There is reason to believe that the sin NATURE was indeed genetically inherited as a defect endemic to the human race, passed down through the male of the species, (thus Jesus had no sin nature). Whether or not that sin nature is related to the imputation of Adam's sin to all of humanity, is irrelevant to Jesus' humanity. He was without sin. Death spread to all "...because all sinned..." (Romans 5) is a statement that applied only physically to Jesus, I say, because he did not sin.

I bring up Jesus' case to contrast with our own. Spiritual death applies to us (as well as physical death) by two means—we inherited the sin nature—we know this because all sinned— and Adam's sin is imputed to us by God.

We receive though the curse of Adam had in His Fall, so born with a sin nature, spiritually dead

We all being found in adam when physically born are sinners by nature and by choice, and only by being spiritually reborn into Christ can undo that Fall effects
