The mystery that is hid from the foundation of the world, and now revealed by the gospel of Jesus Christ, is that the faith of sinful man is not the faith of Jesus.

Galatians
{2:16} Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

We see that it is the faith of Jesus Christ that saves and justifies the soul, not the faith and will of man alone. They are not the same, even as works produced are not the same.

John
{8:28} Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am [he,] and [that] I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things.

We see here that Jesus makes a clear difference between the faith He has from the Father, that is not from Himself, but only from God.

Ephesians
{2:8} For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God:

The grace and faith given by God to save the soul, is the grace and faith Jesus has from the Father. God's saving faith is not from ourselves, but is only from God. Man's own faith alone is not the saving faith of Jesus.

{2:9} Not of works, lest any man should boast. {2:10}

Even as man's own works do not justify him with God, nor does man's own faith save him by God.

John
{8:29} And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him.

Rev
{14:12} Here is the patience of the saints: here [are] they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus

We see here the difference between God's faith by Jesus Christ, and man's own faith from himself, is that of works: The faith of Jesus always does the will of God, and is never not keeping His commandments. The faith of sinful man is doing both good and evil at times.

John {14:15} If ye love me, keep my commandments.

Even as the faith and works of Christ, so the love of God is not from the love of sinful man.

1 John {3:23} And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment. {3:24} And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.

The faith of Jesus to believe God, is always with the Son's obedience God. If a man by faith is disobeying God, then that man's faith is not the saving faith of Jesus Christ. Without doing the good will of God, man's faith is dead to God, being his own faith alone.

The faith of man's own will to be saved and justified while doing both good and evil, is not the gift of saving faith that is only from God by Jesus Christ.

Christians readily preach against their own works justifying them, which is good, however the same ministers do not also preach against their own faith saving them. They make no difference between any works to be justified by, nor make difference between any faith to be saved by.

So long as it's faith that is preached, then it can save. Nothing is said of whether that faith is of Jesus, or of themselves alone. Even as nothing is said of whether the works are of Jesus, or of themselves alone.

The is in Scripture a clear difference made between the faith of God and the faith of man, that oppose one another.

And the judgment between them is by works: The faith of Jesus always does the Father's will, and never disobeys Him.

But the opposing faith of man is manifest: To always be doing either good at times, and bad at times.

The gospel of being saved by one's own faith alone, to sin less from time to time, is not the gospel of God's gift by Jesus Christ: The grace and faith from a new pure heart to only do God's will.

Romans
{10:9} That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. {10:10} For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Any heart of man that says he will sin again, and cannot do God's righteousness at all times, is plainly not the faith of Jesus that does not the will of the world, but only the will of God.

1 John
I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one. {2:15} Love not the world, neither the things [that are] in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. {2:16} For all that [is] in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. {2:17} And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

Only those doing the will of God by Jesus Christ from a pure heart, have the saving and purifying faith of Jesus to come and abide forever with the Father.

Any faith of man that teaches and does otherwise, is of himself alone.

{2:21} Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? {2:22} Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect? {2:23} And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God. {2:24} Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.

We see here that the Scripture of righteousness imputed to Abraham by the faith of Christ, was only fulfilled when he did the work of God by that faith, and offered up Isaac by the will of God.
Faith is only made whole with God, by doing the work of His faith.

Romans
{1:5} By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name:

The faith of God that saves is not alone, but is obeyed. Faith not done is nto whole to save, but only half hearted and unjustified with God.

{7:8} Ephraim, he hath mixed himself among the people; Ephraim is a cake not turned.

And so without the obedient work of faith, one's own faith alone is counted as dead and unrighteous to God. Only them doing His righteous faith, are judged righteous as He by His faith:

1 John
{2:29} If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him.

{3:7} Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous

The faith of Jesus: The Mystery of saving faith from God

There is nothing mysterious about Jesus' faith in God.

The mystery of faith in this world, is that there are two opposing faiths in the world: that of sinful man, and that of Jesus Christ.

Sinful man can have his own faith alone, that cannot cease from sinning. But repented saints can have the faith of Jesus, that always does those things pleasing to the Father.

Therefore, the mystery of different faiths in the world, is that there are two opposing gospels of faith preached in the world: The sinners' gospel of continuing to sin by their own faith alone, and Jesus Christ's gospel of sinning not by His faith only.

Sinners cannot cease from sinning by their own faith alone, and so they preach their gospel of faith to sin.

Saints cannot sin by the faith of Jesus Christ, and so they preach His gospel of faith to sin not.

There is nothing mysterious about Jesus' faith in God.
Not to them that believe Jesus' words, that He always does those things pleasing to the Father.

That's the mystery of Jesus' faith to unrepentant sinners, that don't believe anyone can obey God at all times.

Therefore, what they count as faith, God condemns as unbelief.

The mystery of faith that men have in this life, is that sinful man's faith is not God's faith. The faith of sinners, that continues sinning, is not the faith of the righteous, that sin no more.

Only them that repent of their own sins and trespasses for Jesus' sake, can recieve the faith of Jesus to sin not and always do God's will. They no more trust in their own faith alone, that could not cease from sinning.

Jesus for them He died for, His Seed Isa 53:10

10 Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand.

He communicates to them in the New Birth the Gift of Faith, which Identifies them as His Seed as well as the Spiritual seed of Abraham.

Jesus is the author of their Faith Heb 12:2

2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

He trusted God and so shall His Seed/Children Heb 2:13

13 And again, I will put my trust in him. And again, Behold I and the children which God hath given me.

Saving Faith is from God due to the fact that the Apostles are very Thankful to God when they hear about believers Faith like here 2 Thess 1:3

3 We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you all toward each other aboundeth;

Col 1:3-4

3 We give thanks to God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you,

4 Since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love which ye have to all the saints,

Rom.1:8,

I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith is spoken of throughout the whole world.”

See True Salvation Faith is wrought into us by the Operating Grace and Power of God, and its not of ourselves, but the Gift of God, Particularly God the Spirit,

2 Thess 2:13

13 But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:
