There's also 1 whore riding one of the two beasts, 1 beast from the earth, and the other is the sea beast (sea beast is the Mediterranean Sea, rising of the people who surround the Mediterranean)

The whore from her representiion are the unfaithful who come out from faithful (you can't cheat on a husband you never married to, so she represents the unfaithful covenant people)

How we view the Catholics depends on whether we think she was ever faithful or ever in covenant with God?

Is she started faithful then we have to view her as New Covenant whore, whereas if she didn't begin faithfully then she might be better viewed as the false prophet/sea beast ..

Beasts are political entities with a false prophet from my reading.

Also, somewhere I have some writings of Irenaeus, who was a disciple of Polycarp, who himself was a disciple of the apostle John, who figured the antichrist would come from Italy and from the Latin Church. I can try to find it if anyone is interested. But not really a big deal.

That's a great question. Again, I'm not 100% convinced. I may never be. I have some (Reformed) Christian friends who claim it may be the Muslims.

I think you will see a precise fulfillment of prophecy.

For those of you who know history, how many hundreds of thousands have already lost their lives by order and direction of the pope?

There was a time in many parts of the world, all who did not confess to be Roman Catholic, who did not acknowledge the Pope as head of the church, who did not go to Mass to worship the god of bread, who did not carry a chaplet or cross, and who did not acknowledge the pope, basically worship the pope, must be expelled and were not able to practice buisnes, profession or trade, they were all subject to opposition, tortures, violence, monasteries, prisons the gallows, theft of property, and depravation of children.

Does this not bear witness that the pope is the antichrist?

Ask yourself. Of all the religions and systems in the world, which has become apostate concerning faith, and who forbids to eat?

Do not the RCC and her pope forbid male and female members of the clergy to marry? Don't they also forbid the eating of meat and eggs on Fridays during their feasts?
