.. such as we see in the Global Pandemic, Global warming, Global Humanitarian crisis, Global food shortages, etc.. to say nothing of the conflicts breaking out between nations all over the world... We are given this in gods Word..

Romans 1:18

Causing ...
Job 34:14 “If God should determine to do so, If He should gather to Himself [that is, withdraw from man] His [life-giving] spirit and His breath, 15 All flesh would perish together, And man would return to dust.

If you know Romans, you know this is not the meaning. He is referring to what the Law says about sin, listed in detail in ch 3. The greater the failure, the greater the Gospel.

Of course, there are some breakdowns that are horrid, described in ch 1. But to be revealed from heaven is referring to--you guessed it--revelation in Scripture. Even the misery or unhappiness caused by the horrid things in ch 1 are not the acts of God's wrath of punishment. And ch 3 is also sublime because all wrath was placed on Christ in an atoning punishment.

Otherwise none of this would be good news at all!

So are we seeing 'sin' in the world or is God pleased with what is going on. Paul says even more...

Romans 9:22
What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction:

Ephesians 5:6
Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.

9:22 was about Egypt; it might also be about Jerusalem at his time (he had already said that the wrath of God had come upon it even before 66).

The tense of the verb of Eph 5 is a bit suspended--it might sound currently but actually mean on the last day. Of course, in the case of the generation of Israel after Jesus, which the apostles warned, it is coming at the end of that generation, Lk 23:28. The judgement on Israel in that event was supposed to be a substantial warning to the known world.

No matter what is 'going on', our call as believers is to declare what was declared--to stay in those frames of mind and verb tenses.
