I am not asking to discuss any family history, events, persons, or anything like that.

I am merely asking how far back as in 1800s, or 1500s, or 1200s, etc.

I believe while considering this "so-great salvation" that the Lord put a suggestion in my mind to additionally understand His Covenant(s) and I needed some feedback from others to help me make sense of this suggestion and of the conclusion I believe it leads me to.

So, help me out here. I know there is nothing scientific about this question or the results if anyone chooses to respond. But this has been nagging me for the past month and I thought before I post about it to get some idea as to the 'distance' one can trace their family line.

My dad's on his dad's side back to 1492 to a Hen Muder , Frankenburg, Hesse-Nassau, Prussia, Germany

My dad's on his mom's side back to Fridleif Skjoldsson 259-280

And my dad's on his mom's side from Fridleif going back there was no reference to parents... but before getting back here we checked through
a wife and not the husband.... and from there we actually could trace back to BC... but I cant find it now.... If I do Ill post it

Interesting I also have wondered like in the recorded genealogy in the bible the end? .No need to take it further? Did it accomplish its purpose?

I am not sure when public records as official written deed began? How far back does any official and not private family document go?

Rella, good for you, you go way back. My daughter played around with this a few years back, and got us back fourteen generations to Germany on my father's side~who was named Nebuchadnezzar Beckker~changed to Baker when they came to American back in 1700's I believe.

On my mother's side we came from England almost in London named Pitts and that never changed. Again, several generations.

But, that being said, we all go back to Noah's three son and there we all meet. God put in Adam the DNA of all races and over time they all came out, and over time each gravitated to the ones they looked the most like, and that's how the tribes came about, obviously.

I would think born of women Eve, the mother of all the nations of the world a rainbow of a family. Every woman has all the available shades DNA to represent color melanin or any other feature . He is the mixologist .He sent a flood to start over .. . . to represent born again. Next time a consuming fire .

He separated the nations at the tower of confusion or Bable dividing them as he wills taking away the understanding of another
