Hi!

Eleanor here, another amil.
Why "amillenial"?

Personally, that "weighed, weighed, measured, cut" PROPHECY was the only Biblical Prophecy that I ever understood when I first heard it without needing to wait for Jesus or an Angel to explain what it means a few paragraphs later ... so ESCHATOLOGY is so not my thing. I am just curious why people believe what they believe.

I am "Pan-Trib" ... it will all PAN OUT in the end. ;)

I'm in the same boat as you Brother. Eschatology ain't my thing, but maybe on a gentle Forum like this; I'll try to learn more about it...

If I had to say I liked one Scheme better, it would be Amillenialism; because it's the Simplist. There can be a lot of wisdom in Simplicity...

Good one!

If I'm not mistaken, pre-mil includes a rapture before the "tribulation."
I see the NT as locating the rapture with the final coming of Jesus in judgment (2 Th 1:6-10, 2 Th 2:1-8), and
I see the NT as teaching that there will be no appearance of Jesus until that coming in judgment (Ac 3:2, Heb 9:28).

Authoritative NT apostolic teaching governs my understanding of prophecy.

Could you please start a Thread in the Eschatology Section, and Tag me?

Bah...laziness. :)

Whatever God does is going to be spectacular with no half-way or simple measures. He seems to have a penchant for beautiful surprises...Like Jesus. So I'll go with lovely and complex with questions yet to be answered. ❤️
