Football

Yes. :)

But of course, you all stole it from us. But that's okay. :)
LOL!

I don't think so...

Your taps (faucets), in the hand basin, are the wrong way round; your bicycle brakes are swapped about; your light switches are upside down; you drive on the wrong side of the road and the steering wheel is on the wrong side of the car; so, I'm not surprised that your football has gone awry as well! ;)

It’s not my fault the rest of the world is wrong. 😁

But we still have the standard measurement system. 😎

Actually, I still think in feet and inches, degrees Fahrenheit, and pounds and ounces, so I'm with you there.

A few years ago, I went into an old-fashioned sweet shop that weighed out sweets from jars (it's gone now, but even then it was an anachronism). I hadn't been in one for a few decades and I asked for a quarter (i.e. a quarter of a pound) of chocolate Italian creams, as I used to, in my childhood. The shop assistant looked at me, blankly, and I realised that I was about 30 years out of date! A quick mental calculation and I asked for 112 grams (an approximation) instead, feeling rather embarrassed.

Sports to me is like video games - I grew out of them by before I reached the age of 20. I don't knock others that are into them, but I have a very sour taste for football fans (soccer rather, being a Brit). I also would rather concentrate on reading.

49ers here love Montana he rocks the 49ers rock !!!

1/3 of the way through the season, no undefeated teams, a few teams regressing, and a few teams clawing their way back up. We'll see who the fraudsters are and who can weather the storms as the middle of the season progresses.

Football....ZZZZZzzzzzzzzz Yawwwwwwwn. I may be the only adult American alive who doesn't know the first rule of the game and couldn't care less. May have been forced to watch one game in my youth, and that was 2 hours of my life that I will never get back. Carry on folks...

Clemson football~since my children and grandchildren went there and some still there and others probably will follow. I live in the same county as Clemson, and my wife worked on their campus for AT & T

UNC basketball since I was raised in the backyard almost of UNC.

You can call me a ridge runner Clemson and UNC.

Pro's .....Jacksonville since Trevor Lawrence went to Clemson.

Catches: 501
Yards: 8,685
YPC: 17.3
TD: 67
Super Bowl Wins: 3

Catches: 336
Yards: 5,462
YPC: 16.3
TD: 51
Super Bowl Wins: 4

The top is Cliff Branch and the bottom is Lynn Swann. Yes, Branch played in 54 more games, but he still look at the season averages.

Catches per year:

Swann: 37.3
Branch: 38.5(he was active for 4 games in 1985 but had zero catches)

Yards per Season:

Swann: 606.9
Branch: 668.1

TD per season:
Swann: 5.7
Branch: 5.2

So, why did it take so long for Branch to get into Canton, when his #'s are very comparable to Swann's? Yes, I know he had the highlight reel catches, but Branch was the better WR.
Look up Stanley Morgan who played right here in Easley S.C. where my grandson now plays~he played pro for New England has has not yet been put into Canton.............shame !

There has been a phenomenal amount of talent in recent NFL drafts, just look at the talent in these 5 years alone.

2021 NFL Draft: Trevor Lawrence | Trey Lance | Ja'Marr Chase | Justin Fields | Mac Jones | DeVonta Smith
2020 NFL Draft: Joe Burrow | Tua Tagovailoa | Tee Higgins | Jalen Hurts
2019 NFL Draft: Kyler Murray | Deebo Samuel | Gardner Minshew II | Miles Sanders | A.J. Brown
2018 NFL Draft: Lamar Jackson | Baker Mayfield | Josh Allen | Darius Leonard
2017 NFL Draft: Patrick Mahomes | Deshaun Watson | Cooper Kupp |

Not all of them have worked out as well as their college years would have predicted, but are still good enough to be starters on their respective teams.

As you know, I'm a Bills fan, so it's all JA17 for me.
