Yes, yes indeed. Right before you returned it they were telling their wife, cousins, facebook friends, and even tweeted about you being a huge book thief.
I have the complete, unabridged, single volume commentary of Matthew Henry. You could murder a moose with this thing. I also have at least half a set of commentaries by J. Vernon McGee that was gifted to me by one of my Elders. I have John Calvin's commentary on the Book of John with the spicy foreword from our hero. I think I have a few more floating about somewhere and I've "lost" a great many too earnest seekers of knowledge with the promise "I'll get this right back to you."
I love my biblical and theological books more than any other material thing (not that I love the material world) I have and believe God has blessed me with these materials to learn and bring Him glory.
I’m a big fan of John Gill’s commentary, however the physical set is rather expensive and hard to come by. I don’t understand why this isn’t readily available at any Christian book store. It can only be read online.
The only physical commentaries I currently own is by Warren Wiersbe and a few from Chuck Smith, though I haven’t looked at them in years.
Call me old fashioned, but I like to separate myself from all electronics when I do Bible study.

Fortunately, my eye sight is still well enough to where I can read my 6 point font travel Bible without issue. But I know what you’re saying and I appreciate the advice. I also know that I will inevitably get interrupted with a text or an email so I try to avoid that distraction.
