Circumcision? Baptism? Difference?

And the author tells us how. Faith. That is the only way of salvation, always has been

Is that all you have then?
You know, you're right, my bad.....the NT NEVER reaches back into the OT to support a view.

No, it isn't. Many scriptures in the NT point back to the OT and clarify (interpret) what could not be seen then as it was only revealed in the person and work of Christ. Heb 11 is a discussion on what faith is, and those in the OT had it. If anything that would be the NT interpreting the events in the OT.
Did you know the NT interprets many of the verses from the book of Enoch? :)

It quotes some and also from pagan sources, but that is not interpreting them. That is you interpreting the NT by Enoch.

Do you know the difference between the visible church and the spiritual?
Do you understand the NC or the OC?

Respectfully, I’m not so sure you do
Yes, the New Covenant is the new relationship between uis and Goid established by the Death and resurrection of Jesus, but the ones in it are those indwelt and sealed by the Holy Spirit Himself period

As I thought. But that’s okay. 🙂

If you say so. Where's that 2 page table I posted a little while ago? Did you ever read it?

Where is all that historical evidence on the docments in the Qumran caves that dates the manuscripts to the fifth to first centuries B.C. ? Where is a response to what I posted instead of the nonsense above?

So, there is no way those scrolls found in the caves of Qumran could not have been copied from earlier scrolls?

They were copied Crow. I showed you all this in the other thread. But the date of the original copies is dated between 500 and 300 B.C.

I don't remember you proving those dates were accurate. You may have quoted someone...but????

Keep in mind I have made a distinction between the Illumination and Proverbs..as being the works of Enoch and the remaining of the book of Enoch as not being written by Enoch.

If Moses himself came back and told you, you wouldn't believe him. I gave the sources, and they weren't biased guessers of amateurs trying to make something be true. They were professionals in their field. But you haven't proven or even put forth any data from anywhere or anyone that dates the documents that were copied from any earlier that 500-300 B.C. The ones you tried to slip in there said exactly the same thing as what I showed. You must have thought no one would check by going to the sources you gave.

You have never made that distinction. You have always stated that Moses was quoting the antediluvian Enoch in Gen 6 and agreed with the statement that it was written by Enoch the seventh from Adam.

But this is not the thread to be rehashing that in. This thread is about circumcision and baptism.

Yes, I believe Moses was speaking of Enoch 6.
When Moses wrote Gen 6 he didn't provide a lot of details becase he knew those who he was writing to understood what Enoch had already said and was avialable to them.
