I think that in this situation; he can have two Wives, and they can have the same Husband. No matter what their arrangement is, it can only be a Grace thing...
This Thread is ultimately about, "All things are Lawful for me, but all things are not Prudent". This example is perfect for a discussion about Christian Liberty in the extreme...
