Galatians 6:
Romans 15:
Matthew 16:
See also Bear one another’s burdens vs each will have to bear his own load
Christ bears our burdens. We should help alleviate our fellow believers' burdens, helping each other out in practice.2 Bear one another’s burdens [G922], and so fulfill the law of Christ.
Romans 15:
On the other hand, I have my own load that I alone is responsible. Gal 6:1 We who are strong ought to bear with the shortcomings of the weak and not to please ourselves.
The meanings of G922 and G5413 overlap. Paul uses them more or less interchangeably.4 But let each one test his own work, and then his reason to boast will be in himself alone and not in his neighbor. 5 For each will have to bear his own load [G5413].
Matthew 16:
The two sets of passages balance each other. You cannot always rely on your friends to share your load/burden.24 Then Jesus told his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.
