This hour piece has excellent animations of what happened at the glacial Lake Missoula collapse. Be sure to adjust your brain before the program for the figures involved, notably, 500 CM of water was released. Miles, not meters. The doc also discusses the rejection of Bretz work until a peer at the USGS, Piroutte, found an explanation for that much water.
But while the doc does use the term Biblical flood once, it does not attempt to explain what deposited so much ice nor what logically happens when so much ice returns to normal, present day, temps.
And then at the end, to fill out an hour, a mysterious deposit of St Helens ash is found in one of the Scabland, WA, canyons, and an Oxford prof says that the layers show that a flood of similar size must have happened about every 20KY. I object to this because there was no discussion of how so much ice returns to normal temps.
