A Jot or a Tittle יוד

f the law is not abolished, is it still in effect?

In light of vs 18
“Whoever then annuls one of the least of these commandments, and teaches others to do the same, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever keeps and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

This looks to be so simple, why can I not grasp it?
The law has not been abolished, it is eternal as God is eternal Jesus (the God/man) fully kept itand glorified it in His law keeping.

Romans 5:19-20 KJV
For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. [20] Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:

Does this then include Sabbath wordship as in Saturday? Or Fri 6pm to Sat 6pm?

Personally, I believe that Sabbath question is taken up at the end of Hebrews chapter 3..
Hebrews 3:19 ESV
So we see that they were unable to enter because of unbelief.

We enter Christ rest when we cease from our own works and enter into his full works. In this way, we enter an eternal rest. In other words, we keep the Sabbath commandment through faith in Jesus, where we enter into his rest and cease from our works.

@Rella , continue reading through Hebrews 4, I believe it is all about Sabbath.
