It seems that everyone always tries to argue who are God's people, the 'chosen', the 'remnant', 'spiritual Israel' and declare that they are 'Gods chosen', or by rigidly following a religious leader or by strictly restricting their behavior they achieve the status of 'Gods chosen' and thus are 'saved', but what does God say.

Philippians 3:9
And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:

Many say I follow Christ and yet continue in sinful lusts and iniquity, they just pretend to make themselves look good before others. No one can declare themselves saved, we cannot save ourselves, salvation by faith is not salvation by works or by presumptuous declaration or anyone could just 'say it' or give lip service of their piety, but God will be the final judge.

Matthew 23:28
Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.

Christ will be our advocate but God will still judge each and everyone, God will look at our case and if it says 'covered by the Christ's righteousness' we are guaranteed eternal life, it is says 'covered by mans logic' then damnation is its end.

Revelation 20:12
And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

Christ came not to judge the world but to save it, but it is still God who judges at the end.

John 12:44-48
44 Jesus cried and said, He that believeth on me, believeth not on me, but on him that sent me.
45 And he that seeth me seeth him that sent me.
46 I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.
47 And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.
48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

It is God who decides who are His people and who will be saved, those who say "I have accepted Christ" but dont really mean it or follow as He asks will be set aside and Christ will tell them 'I never knew you: depart from me', those who say I follow all the laws but do not love God or fail to see the true meaning of the law will be set aside, those who have false piety or use "cheap grace" to cover their continuing in sin will be set aside, and those who did all the 'works' of helping the poor and needy not from love but to gain favor of man, God will be set aside.....

Man cannot declare 'I am saved' or take eternal life as a prize from their own works or labors, it is a gift through Jesus Christ and it is God not man who decides whether you accepted it and are His chosen people.

Matthew 13:41
The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;

Many who 'say' they are saved and declare that they are 'righteous' but dont believe that God has the final say, will stumbled over the "stumbling stone" as they depend not on God but on themselves or on man's desire or effort to gain eternal life and have little or no faith......

Can you cite three specific examples? Thx

1 st John 5:13 I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life.

A specific example of WHO is God's Chosen is in Scripture:

Yet now hear, O Jacob my servant;
And Israel, whom I have chosen:
2 Thus saith the LORD that made thee,
And formed thee from the womb, which will help thee;
Is 44:1–2.

Salvation is of the Jews.

Who are Gods 'Chosen'?

You can ask the twins.

10 Not only that, but Rebecca’s children were conceived by one man, our father Isaac. 11 Yet before the twins were born or had done anything good or bad, in order that God’s plan of election might stand, 12 not by works but by Him who calls, she was told, “The older will serve the younger.”13 So it is written: “Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated.”

14 What then shall we say? Is God unjust? Certainly not! 15 For He says to Moses:

“I will have mercy on whom I have mercy,

and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.

You must have missed Matt 23--Jesus told the Israelite spiritual teachers off. He assures them that religion is cut off-23:38) Lovingly, even though Jesus knew they would send him to a gruesome death out of their hatred for him, left the door open to them in verse 39. Aswell the renting of the banner the moment Jesus died signified that religion was cut off.

Yes, He told thr religious leaders off. The people He was sent to, you know, the lost sheep of the house of Israel received His saving attention.

And on their Feast of Harvests 3000 Jews were saved and filled with the Holy Spirit of Promise and when the feast was over returned to their homes in Gentile lands and took Jesus with them and soon began what Gentiles practice today called 'home churches' and in those Gentile lands where they lived founded the first Jewish Churches of the New Covenant God made with the House of Israel.

38 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate. (That's because He wasn't in it!)
39 For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.

Yes, and He was saddled on an ass and came into town the day He was to die, and everybody cried out,
Blessed is He that comes in the Name of the LORD! Mt 23:38–39.
(and maybe a couple of stones joined in.)

And you missed Matthew 22.

And Jesus answered and spake unto them again by parables, and said,
2 The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son,
3 And sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come.

God preparing Israel who 'was bidden' through covenant to come to the Marriage of His Son to His Bride and Church Israel.

4 Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come unto the marriage.
5 But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his merchandise:
6 And the remnant took his servants, and entreated them spitefully, and slew them.
Israel, always killing God's prophets. Jew killing Jew.
7 But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city.
God destroyed their Temple in AD70 and the "ism" of Judaism was effectively over. Now the Times of the Gentiles will begin for a time and then when that's over - God have mercy - He turns His full attention back to Israel and as Paul said, "All Israel shall be saved!"
8 Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy.
9 Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage.
10 So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests.
The Times of the Gentiles has an expiration date known only to God. The way that Gentile Christians treat Israel is the way they treat God. "I will bless them that blesseth thee, and curse them that curseth thee" God promised Abraham.
11 And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment:
12 And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless.
13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
14 For many are called, but few are chosen. Mt 22:1–14.
"outer darkness" = "For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.
(in other words, Gog and Magog.) Rev. 22:15.

At the Marriage Supper Israel is the Bride and Church of Christ whom He died for as per covenant and will be at the Supper through Covenant.
Gentiles will be there by invitation.

Any who follow the Judaism religious leaders will lose. Jesus told them--they are closing up the kingdom of heavens to those who listen to them.

Incorrect.
When the two Jewish witnesses appear and prophesy to Israel and the world, they will finally do what Paul couldn't because of the blindness God placed on Israel and that is, to show through the Old Testament writings of Law, Psalms, and Prophets that this Jesus was truly their long-awaited Messiah and not only will "ALL Israel shall be saved (as per covenant - God keeps His Promises) but also Israel will evangelize the world as prophesied in the OT.
God's covenant with Israel and the Shabat/Sabbath is "forever" and so is their covenants.
At the Marriage Supper Israel is there by Covenant (Israel is the Bride and Church of Christ), but Gentiles are there by invitation (Matt. 22.)

Not one who doesn't do this-Matt 23:39 has a chance with God. Its been over 1950 years-Judaism outright refuses.

Yes, with God's help. Blindness in part is sent by God in order to bring in Gentiles.
If God din't do this there would be no Gentile Church nor Times of the Gentiles.
So, are you thankful God has done this is order to save Gentiles without a covenant?
But the day will come when the Times of the Gentiles will end very soon and God turns His full attention back to His covenant people and, as Paul said, "ALL Israel shall be saved."
God is using Gentiles to make His Bride jealous.
How does it feel to be used.
Have you ever considered what it would look like when the Holy Spirit stops saving Gentiles and again is sent to the lost sheep of the House of Israel?
No, I don't think you ever have.

Spiritual Israel is now Gods chosen. Made up of those gentiles and any who do this-Matt 23:39-Gods way. Judaism never will do verse 39. They have closed up the kingdom before men( Matt 23:13-15)

Congregation is the English word.
Jesus was sent for Israel- John the baptist knew that but was dead when Jesus told them off and cut them off, but left the door open, they have outright refused to walk through that door to this day. A new religion started back then-Acts 24:5-- 1)these serve the God of Israel=YHWH(Jehovah)--2) and know 100% Jesus was the promised Messiah.= spiritual Israel revelation speaks of. meaning-Gods chosen. They must fit the 2 requirements i have shown.

Are you going to talk about the chosen people as quoted by 1 Pet 2?

Israel is God's Chosen as per His covenants with them.
But overall, His Chosen are those whose names are written (by God) in the book of life of the lamb slain from [before] the foundation (creation) of the world.
This book contains the names of the souls that shall be saved/redeemed, and this includes Israel (covenant) and Gentiles (non-covenant.)

Jesus told the Israelite religious leaders off( Matt 23) He assured them the religion is cut off verse 38 until they do verse 39-They outright refuse to this day. Spiritual Israel is now Gods chosen. These serve the Abrahamic God= a single being God=YHVH(Jehovah) and bless and believe the one sent forth from God= Jesus.

Natural and spiritual Israel are the same people.
In our present time and age, we do not see the end except as provided in Scripture and the end has been revealed.
As per covenant all Israel shall be saved. They will occupy their land, occupy the heavenly Jerusalem, and will host all activities ordained and determined by God now and forever.
God has covenant with the Hebrew people established with Abraham. Scripture may present God destroying unbelieving or idol-worshiping Hebrews but that is only a physical destruction to remove them from His Presence and to be a sign to the rest to stay faithful or they will lose their physical lives. But they will never lost their eternal lives with God. Something called covenant and a certain word "grace."

A specific example of WHO is God's Chosen is in Scripture:

Yet now hear, O Jacob my servant;
And Israel, whom I have chosen:
2 Thus saith the LORD that made thee,
And formed thee from the womb, which will help thee;
Is 44:1–2.

Salvation is of the Jews.
Former covenant of the chosen people
Now it’s the new covenant gal 4 & 1 pet 2:9-10
9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;

10 Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

Israel is God's Chosen as per His covenants with them.
And yet not all Israel is Israel.
But overall, His Chosen are those whose names are written (by God) in the book of life of the lamb slain from [before] the foundation (creation) of the world.
Which is it? Israel or those whose names are written in the Lamb's book of life?

Matthew 27:25
And all the people said, "His blood shall be on us and on our children!"
This book contains the names of the souls that shall be saved/redeemed, and this includes Israel (covenant) and Gentiles (non-covenant.)
Yes and no. A covenant was made with Gentiles because all who call upon the name of the Lord, whether they be male or female, Jew or Greek, slave or free, are members of the new covenant, a chosen people, a royal priesthood (Gen. 14:18; Ex. 19:6; Heb. 7:1), holy nation, a people for God's own possession.

Hosea 1:9-10
And the LORD said, “Name him Lo-ammi, because you are not My people, and I am not your God. Yet the number of the sons of Israel Will be like the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured or counted; and in the place where it is said to them, “You are not My people,” It will be said to them, “You are the sons of the living God.”

Hosea 2:16-23
"And in that day," declares the LORD, "you will call me ‘My Husband,’ and no longer will you call me ‘My Baal.’ For I will remove the names of the Baals from her mouth, and they shall be remembered by name no more. And I will make for them a covenant on that day with the beasts of the field, the birds of the heavens, and the creeping things of the ground. And I will abolish the bow, the sword, and war from the land, and I will make you lie down in safety. And I will betroth you to me forever. I will betroth you to me in righteousness and in justice, in steadfast love and in mercy. I will betroth you to me in faithfulness. And you shall know the LORD. “And in that day I will answer, declares the LORD, I will answer the heavens, and they shall answer the earth, and the earth shall answer the grain, the wine, and the oil, and they shall answer Jezreel, and I will sow her for myself in the land. And I will have mercy on No Mercy, and I will say to Not My People, ‘You are my people’; and he shall say, ‘You are my God.’”

Romans 9:22-26 ESV
What if God, desiring to show his wrath and to make known his power, has endured with much patience vessels of wrath prepared for destruction, in order to make known the riches of his glory for vessels of mercy, which he has prepared beforehand for glory — even us whom he has called, not from the Jews only but also from the Gentiles? As indeed he says in Hosea, “Those who were not my people I will call ‘my people,’ and her who was not beloved I will call ‘beloved.’ And in the very place where it was said to them, ‘You are not my people,’ there they will be called ‘sons of the living God.’”

It is critically important to remember not all Israel is Israel and the only Israel that is Israel is the Israel of promise, not bloodline or geo-political nation-state status. All Israel will be saved, but not all Israel is Israel. The covenant was made with Abrahm and his seed (Jesus) and not all who are descended from Abrahams are his descendants any more that all Israel are Israel.

Jeremiah 31:31-34
"Behold, days are coming," declares the LORD, "when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah, not like the covenant which I made with their fathers in the day I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, although I was a husband to them," declares the LORD. "But this is the covenant which I will make with the house of Israel after those days," declares the LORD, "I will put My law within them and on their heart I will write it; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. "They will not teach again, each man his neighbor and each man his brother, saying, 'Know the LORD,' for they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them," declares the LORD, "for I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more."

Luke 22:19-21
And when he had taken some bread and given thanks, he broke it and gave it to them, saying, "This is my body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of me." And in the same way he took the cup after they had eaten, saying, "This cup which is poured out for you is the new covenant in my blood. "But behold, the hand of the one betraying me is with mine on the table.

1 Corinthians 11:23-27
For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus in the night in which he was betrayed took bread; and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, "This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me." In the same way ge took the cup also after supper, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me." For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until He comes. Therefore whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner, shall be guilty of the body and the blood of the Lord.

2 Corinthians 3:2-6
You are our letter, written in our hearts, known and read by all men; being manifested that you are a letter of Christ, cared for by us, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts. Such confidence we have through Christ toward God. Not that we are adequate in ourselves to consider anything as coming from ourselves, but our adequacy is from God, who also made us adequate as servants of a new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.

Hebrews 9:15
For this reason, ge is the mediator of a new covenant, so that, since a death has taken place for the redemption of the transgressions that were committed under the first covenant, those who have been called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.

Btw, Abram was not a Jew. Neither was he an Israelite. The covenant made with Abram and Jesus was made long before existed.
