Hello;

I've been active on more than forty forums and message boards since we obtained
an internet-capable computer back in 1997. That was before machines came from
the factory with USB ports and built-in optical drives. I still have a number of 1.44
mb mini floppys that have never been used.

All there was for service back then was dial-up and DSL which, compared to cable
internet and wireless modems, was so slow I blocked pictures and graphics to help
speed up downloads a bit.

I was diagnosed with esophageal cancer this past November and anon completed
an appropriate amount of radiation/chemo but still have the cancer and it's
inoperable.

But you know; I've discovered that cancer isn't all that bad of a way to die because
it's a slow death and as such has given me ample time to pack my bags, so to
speak; and also time to get used to the idea of passing, which is a whole lot better
than sudden, unexpected death when people aren't ready to leave just yet. But I'll
be 80 this coming January so it's getting time for me to leave anyway. The ones I
pity are the youngsters with fatal cancers who haven't really lived yet. But anyway;
enough of that.

I've been an on-going student of the Bible since 1972 via Sunday school, sermons,
radio, books, seminars, special classes, and of course internet forums and message
boards. Fifty-one years of Bible under my belt hasn't made me a seminary quality
expert, but it has made me somewhat competent in a few areas so all in all I'm looking
forward to participating hereabouts.

I was also diognosed with cancer Lukemia on my 12th birthday great present huh? I know all to well what your going through.
But interestingly enough I have always been a happy go lucky kid so my smile at the hospital without me even knowing changed the nurses and doctors.

My friend your cancer is not what you think your light is what is being used don't forget he promised he turns all things into good it is spoken so many times in the bible that you would think he is shouting it

Every story written everything the enemy would throw at people and then God is like nope I'll show you something better. the same message over and over again in different forms different events different words different people.

This cancer has no power over you don't forget who you are in Christ. He has given you his authority he has raised you to the royal stance of a king and that demands respect you will reign and regign even now in the kingdom of God what is a petty illness to you?

The demons themselves are under our feet they have no say in the matter they don't have a choice if you speak they have to listen no if and or but. I myself am very lacking in nutrition I have had to go the hospital more than four times in this year just to get fluids and nutition in me

My body is very thin I am constantly weak and low on energy I can't take care of my diebetes because I can't afford it on top of being legally blind and also under spiritual warfare.

This sounds insane but I speak the truth I deal with all this every day and more I would have to make a whole other post.

And yet I stand in Christ the illness and the things I deal with may suffer my body but my spirit and heart is alave and rising.
I have been taken to an entirely different level with him the real deal the truth and I mean the real truth there is a whole other level and bond with him than people realize

Welcome brother. I'm glad you are here and hope you enjoy the forum.

I'm sorry to hear about the cancer, and whatever God's plans are concerning that, I pray He will give you His peace that surpasses all understanding. I'm glad He brought you here because I really like your posts. I will pray for you.

Blessings

Thanks for sharing the background and I hope for the best for you.

You mentioned the Northwest. As in the US? So the Pacific NW?

I was diagnosed with esophageal cancer this past November and anon completed
an appropriate amount of radiation/chemo but still have the cancer and it's
inoperable.
The Lord be with you, and give you some good days, in spite of your cancer.

I lost my oldest grandson to cancer three years ago. He was only 23 years old.
